Chuck & Rebecca :: Wedding

Chuck & Rebecca married on July 23, 2011! Preparation was held at the Roosevelt Hotel, the Ceremony was at Immaculate Conception on Barrone and the Reception was back at the ballroom of the Roosevelt. Overall, the Wedding was beautiful! My assistant, Kacie and I had a great time capturing all the details and documenting such a fun Wedding! The flowers were beautiful, the band was entertaining and we always love when our couple’s have a photobooth!

Thank you Chuck and Rebecca, I’m sure you guys had a great honeymoon! I hope these photos will allow you to relive your special night! It was a blast!

There’s some slight rain in that first shot of the Roosevelt sign. A Wedding Day shower is always nice – means good luck!! :)

Website it back up!

Just wanted to apologize for the website being down most of the weekend. I know many of you were trying to access your online galleries and the site was not working. In the 4 years of having my photography site, its never been out of commission for that long.

I noticed several weeks back that the site was running really slow. When you would arrive at the home page, it was taking at least 10-15 seconds to fully load. I contacted my hosting company and they suggested I upgrade and update several different things. To my knowledge, this was something that was going to be seamless and almost do its magic without any web downtime. I was wrong. A few things went crazy and it took me just about all day yesterday to recover everything.

I woke up Sunday morning with no site, needless to say I was flipping out. This is my storefront. This is were I spend countless hours writing posts and sharing photos from each and every one of my sessions and weddings. To think that all of it could be gone really worked me up. Well about 10 phone calls later and hours on the phone with my hosting company, it finally started working again. It took talking to the right technician to help with all the issues.

Thanks for your patience to those clients who emailed me about it! Now it’s back up and I have a ton to share this week, stay tuned :)

Rebecca :: Bridals

So I’ve had Rebecca’s Bridals ready to share for months now! We took these back in May at City Park, the weather was nice for us! I loved Rebecca’s dress, there was so much detail! I photographed their Wedding a couple of weeks ago and I’m looking forward to sharing it here on the blog next week. So be on the lookout for that! :)

Well it’s a full day of editing, making print orders, assembling albums and getting ready for another shoot this afternoon! Thank goodness for Pandora Radio to keep me entertained the days I’m sitting at my desk. Looking forward to having tomorrow off – I’ve been working on a new distressed headboard for our spare bedroom with Randy. Wish I had more time to document this process for you guys to see. Hoping to put the finishing touches on it tomorrow so we can get that room done! I really didn’t want to spend $500+ on a new headboard, so we decided to tackle this project for less than $100 bucks! It’s not too bad, I suggest ya’ll give it a try.

Giulianna :: Newborn

Good morning world! It’s a beautiful day and I don’t think it’s supposed to rain today, which is always nice! I started the day of right with some exercise and now I feel like 100 bucks. Make that 200! Ready to tackle everything on my to-do list. I really should get in the habit of waking up and working out. I feel so much better!

Who remembers this awesome Maternity session with my friend Gia? Sweet baby Giulianna was preparing to enter this big ole’ world! It’s always fun to go through this process with a couple who is expecting a baby. I am so excited that I was able to document their Maternity photos and now I get to capture Giulianna for the entire first year of her life :) This ‘Grow with Me’ baby sure is stylin’! Her baby pink vans slip ons were the cutest things ever! Big brother John sure looked handsome, too! We squeezed in some new portraits of him while there, I love his long hair! I drove to Covington, LA to photograph this session, love the outdoor country whimsical look I was able to get in some of the shots.

Here are my favs from the day, I wish could share ALL of them because Baby Giulianna is just so precious!

Addison :: 3 Months

Addison is a new member of ‘Grow With Me’, she is starting at the 3 month mark, which lots of moms do!! Here you will get to see her change and grow over the upcoming year! I’ve been preparing my blogpost list and have lots of new sessions to share over the next several weeks. Making these lists is honestly the key to me staying on track and getting things back to clients so quickly. Mini timelines and schedules is where it’s at! So be sure to keep checking back to see it all :) I had a great time photographing Addison, she is cute as can be!
