Can’t believe this little cutie is about to be ONE!! I had a great time last week photographing Camille for her session at City Park, she did wonderful – lots of smiles!! It’s always bittersweet to photograph the One Year shoots after I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them every 3 months :)

Love photographing this cutie! He’s always full of smiles! :) We had a great time for his 9 month session. I photographed his shoot on the morning of my husband and I’s 3 year Anniversary. His Mommy knew this and brought me champagne and chocolates! SO SWEET!!! Of course.. being 36 weeks pregnant – I ate the chocolate right away :) The champagne will have to wait until after baby.

I have a couple more shoots to edit and get wrapped up then hopefully I’ll have some time to write a personal post to you all before I go on Maternity leave for a while :)

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these sweetie’s entire first year! She has always done such a great job for her shoots. Those blue eyes just light up the camera! It’s always a treat to shoot somewhere new and get some different backgrounds :)

I can’t believe this little cutie is already 9 months! I’ve had so much fun photographing her so far… we will be preparing for her 1 year session soon! Mommy had to work, so Daddy took her to the shoot – love the playful, fun candid shots with Annie and Scott towards the end. What a treat to get Dad in some pics! This family is so kind… Scott left the session thanking me for all the photos I’ve taken of their family over the past couple of years. It’s so much fun being able to become friends with my clients! Not a day goes by that I’m not soo appreciative to have this as my job :) Thanks Elizabeth and Scott for always being so sweet, here’s some favorites of your girl for her 9 month session!

Ryan was too cute last week for his 9 month session, I LOVE all the little beanie hats and outfits. We took these over at Rivertown Heritage Park in Kenner. I had a great time photographing The Melerine Family last week! Grant turned the big ONE!! We started off with some family shots on Oak Street and then ended with some solo shots of Grant for his birthday!! It was really really cold last Tuesday, temps were in the 40’s! We started off fine with the family shots, but Grant was cold and wasn’t feeling being outside to finish his shoot. I had a great idea to finish up our session at my uncle’s restaurant, “Mother’s” downtown. Their exposed brick walls and Christmas tree were such a cute look. Then we did an outfit change and walked over to the “W” hotel! As you all know, I don’t photograph inside unless it’s a newborn shoot. A light bulb went off for this session and I really LOVE the way the indoor shots turned out :) Here are some of my favs from their session:

Oliver did awesome for his 3 month shoot! Always fun getting to catch up with his Momma while I photograph her kiddos! I also captured Oliver’s sister, Josie’s first year as well :) We took these in River Ridge last week and I was so happy with all the smiles that Oliver gave us! His outfits were precious too, can’t wait to see how much he changes by our next session. Here are some I loved:

I had a great time photographing sweet little Alyssa last! She gave us some smiles in there :) We took this in my fav little spot in River Ridge for 3 month sessions. It’s always nice, green and pretty… love my little white picket fence, too! Alyssa’s outfits were adorable… I can’t wait to watch this cutie grow over the upcoming months!! I always love photographing Julia! What an adorable face… I could just eat her up! Funny thing is, she reminds me alot of myself as a baby. Those big brown eyes, brown hair and cheeks!! She did wonderful for her 6 month session, couldn’t have asked for a better shoot. Tons of smiles! Her outfits were very cute, too! Here are some I loved from our session at Audubon Park!!

I photographed cute little Aidan last week at Audubon Park! My sessions last week were right before the weather turned cold. I am so glad I was able to photograph a lot of my little ones before the weather dipped into the 40’s! Here are some favs from Aidan’s 6 month session! He was the sweetest little smile :)

Sweet little Claire turns ONE and finishes up her last ‘Grow with Me’ session! It’s been fun watching her change over the past year, feels like yesterday I was photographing her newborn session! I had a wonderful time photographing Christopher last week! He is one of the most smiley 3 month olds I’ve ever photographed. He hammed it up and then towards the end of our shoot he took a little snooze. It was perfect timing with his Baby’s 1st Christmas Elf outfit! Just precious :) I have such a great time catching up with my ‘Grow With Me’ kiddos every 3 months. Can’t wait until next time!

This sweetness was a ball of energy and fun for her 1 year session! My “Grow With Me” kiddos grow up way too fast!! I loved all of Aubrey’s outfits. I usually don’t work or blog on Saturdays, but I have been completely swamped since Issac. That week off really threw my schedule for a loop! I have 7 sessions this upcoming week before we head to the beach. I’m trying to get as caught up as possible before we leave :) Thanks to all my clients for being patient while I edit edit edit!

I photographed this cutie on Monday morning… don’t you just love his little teeth? Seems like yesterday I was photographing his newborn session and now we are already planning for his 1 year session. Time flies! It’s been great getting to know his family over the past year – they are so sweet! We took these at Rivertown Heritage Park off Williams… love that little area. Sister Addison also jumped in for a couple too!

I photographed sweet little Christopher right before Hurricane Issac came, I’m just now getting caught up with those last few sessions from that week. We were around 4-5 days without AC and some loss of power – so I was a bit out of commission! All is well now and things are getting back to normal. I’ve photographed 5 sessions in the past 48 hours – nothing like throwing myself back in it full force! Lots and lots to edit!

Well back to this cutie…. I LOVED Chris’ hair, it is just precious! It was great getting to photograph this sweet pea and to visit with his parents!

I photographed Madden last week for his 9 month shoot, we went to his grandparents house to take these! They have a beautiful yard! Love going to different places to shoot. Olivia is ONE! I’ve had so much fun photographing this little cutie for her newborn, 3 month, 6 month and 9 month sessions! Olivia always has the most precious outfits! :) These were taken at Audubon Park! She loved her smash cake, yummm!

Little Claire surely worked her session last week! She was all smiles, despite our heat lately! Loved her outfit choices that Momma picked out for her to wear – just precious! I am so thankful to have photographed Abel’s first year. I shot his parents Wedding back in 2010 and was thrilled when I found out Caleb & Katy were expecting. Little Abel came along and I was so happy to spend time with them again this past year. Katy is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Always has a smile on her face, so thoughtful and sweet. Just a complete joy to be around! When we finished Abel’s final “Grow with Me” session last week, Katy gave me a big hug and a card. I opened the card when I got back in the car and it was filled with a long long handwritten note and a PJ’s gift card. I started to get teary eyed because it really meant so much to me. I am not going to lie, sometimes I feel like I just take pictures for a living and I’m not sure how much of an effect I have on people? Katy went out of her way to make sure I felt appreciated and special. Katy, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Your family is very dear to me! I am going to miss seeing you all every 3 months.

Well I’m back from my 5 day vacation to the beach! I had a wonderful time with my family. I’ll share a little more and hopefully post some photos from our trip soon. I’ve been home since 2pm and I’ve barely stopped since I walked in the door. Just trying to pick up with what I had left to do before vacation. I have some catching up to do with work and then I plan on writing out a long blog post of whats been up with life and business lately….! As soon as I catch a breather, I’ll resume my personal posts again!

I’ve been looking forward to sharing these images with you all! I took these photos of sweet Aubrey last week and she did wonderful! So full of smiles and happiness :) We took these at Aubrey’s Aunt’s home in Old Metairie. Such beautiful backgrounds, both inside and outside of the house – loved it!! I can’t wait until this little cutie’s 9 month session!

I loved photographing sweet Madden for his 6 month session – look at that face! He has such a cute smile, but I also love the candid serious faces, too. His outfits were adorable! I will remember this session for a while because I got stunk by a BEE! Shooting outdoors sometimes takes its toll. Last year I got poison ivy, this year a bee sting… I’m waiting for the caterpillar bite, haha! It’s all worth it though because every day I get to do what I love :) Wouldn’t have it any other way! Can’t wait until this little dudes next session, he and his Mom are way too much fun!

It’s hard to believe that Giulianna is now 9 months! Seems like yesterday I was shooting her parent’s Maternity session!! Leave it up to her Mom, Gia to dress her in the most adorable little sassy outfits. And check out her headpieces!! I am so thankful to get the opportunity to photograph so many children… it makes me smile when Mom’s make an effort to go the extra mile for their shoots. The kids I photograph always look so stinkin’ cute with precious clothes – some choices are playful and creative… some are smocked and monogrammed – I LOVE ALL OF THEM!

I enjoyed photographing Sweet Olivia last week for her 9 month session! She is getting so big. Her blue eyes are just gorgeous! Her parents Josh and Kalee jumped in for a few as well as big brother Cooper! I am so thankful to have the opportunity to watch this beautiful family grow over the past couple of years. We headed out to the rustic area of City Park and I love the white wagon and pretty flowers that Olivia’s parents brought along to our shoot :)

Another one of my “Grow with Me” kids turns ONE! I’ve had so much fun with Lyla and her parents over the past year watching their sweet baby girl grow! It’s amazing to see how much they change. The milestones from barely being able to sit up, to crawling, to standing and almost walking!

Seems like yesterday I was photographing Greyson’s newborn photos! They just grow soo fast! He did great for his 3 month session :) We took these near my favorite little spot in River Ridge. It’s perfect for this age. I love the last set of photos – Greyson’s Dad is a fireman and he brought along all of his gear. It made for such a sweet picture that I’m sure they will cherish forever. I had a blast photographing Grant a few days ago! He is getting so big and WOW look at him sitting up in all the rockers. He’s only 3 months! His outfits and hats were precious and I can’t wait for his next session! We took these near my favorite little nook in River Ridge that I just love for this age. I am happy about all the smiling pictures we got from this little guy. Here are some I loved:

Stella is cute as can be! I loved her little outfits that she wore for her shoot! Her eyes are just gorgeous! I was excited when her Dad brought me a couple of goodies on the day of her session. He loves collecting old rustic pieces and he knows I like them, too! I now have a really funky old white window pane that I can’t wait to do something with. It needs some photos and to be hung on the wall. He also gave me a little wooden bench as a prop that he found. I can’t wait to paint it! Thankful for my thoughtful clients!! YAY!

You wouldn’t believe the phone calls I get from clients or family members when they see props somewhere that I might like. Stuff at antique stores, on the side of road, where ever!!  Our house is a bit taken over right now when all my odds and ends! I think I need storage unit, haha!

And… another one of my past brides has a BABY! :) I remember photographing Justin & Sarah’s Wedding like it was yesterday! Now they have the most adorable little girl and I am so excited to be documenting her milestones over the upcoming year. She is precious! She’s awake cracking up and then we have some of her sleeping! I love the outfits, the first one is just beautiful with the headpiece. Then of course you have to have a little fun sassy tutu outfit :) I can’t wait until our next session!

I had so much fun photographing handsome Madden last week! His parents Ashley & Danny always crack me up and truly are a joy to hang out with! Two of the sweetest people ever! They live in River Ridge right near me, so we did these at their house! They have lots of natural light in the den which helped us get some great indoor portraits. We also did some cute shots in their back yard :) His outfits were adorable. His momma gave him a big ole’ kiss with some red lipstick for his Valentine’s outfit and then we did the Mardi Gras themed one too! Madden passed out at the end because he was having way too much fun! Thanks for a wonderful shoot guys, I can’t wait until our 6 month session!!!!

Another one of my little ‘grow with me’ kiddos turns ONE! Soon I am going to make a blogpost of all of my “Grow with Me” kids from their newborn session to their 1 year session to show their progression! I can’t wait to do that :)  We took these at the Audubon Zoo! Mallory’s mom had a animal/zoo/safari themed 1st Birthday party for her, so this was the perfect place to capture her turning ONE! I hope to see she and big sister Madison again really soon, those two girls love the camera :)

This is an email I received from Mallory’s mom, Christi the day we finished up Mallory’s session. I just wanted to share it with you guys…

I sat at my desk and got teary after reading this. I am so thankful to do what I do. Now you know why I often overbook myself and take on extra shoots per week. I have a really hard telling people No. I truly am addicted to my job and I get so attached to my clients. It takes tons of patience, hard work and self-motivation to keep trucking along…. but the people I photograph make my day! Thank you Christi for being a wonderful Mom who truly treasures the photos I take :) That makes my heart happy.

Madison jumped in for a few!!

Giulianna did great for her 6 month session last week! She has the sweetest little smile, I could just eat her up! What a DOLL! We took these at Rivertown Heritage Park, I like the pops of color there! Her outfits are always precious… Miss July, the Makeup & the Red Valentine’s outfit!! Can’t wait until her upcoming shoots!!

Momma… I think we are done…. :(

Lyla is another one of my ‘Grow With Me’ kids! The weather was a little funky last week so her Mom asked if we could do an indoor shoot! It’s January and our weather can be pretty unpredictable here! So why not!? :) We headed to the International Hotel downtown and shot these using natural window light. There’s some cute spots in their lounge area! Anyway, it always nice to do something different, thanks Kristin for the suggestion!

Sweet Madison just turned 6 months! Last week I photographed her session here in River Ridge, and big brother Mason jumped in for a few, too! Always nice to see the Curtis crew! Loved her little outfits and those big brown eyes!! Here are some of my favs:

I loved Olivia’s outfits for her 6 month session! Bright colors always photograph so well and I highly recommend dressing your kiddos in rich colors for photos. I find they really pop rather then lighter colored fabrics. We headed to the Rivertown area to take these on a bit of a chilly morning! I can’t get over how much Olivia and her older brother Cooper look alike! She is so cute and I could just pinch those little cheeks all day! Here are some of my favs of Olivia’s 6 month session!

I started off photographing little Addison when she was 3 months old! So we extended her ‘Grow With Me’ package to include a 15 month session! It’s amazing how fast she has grown. It seems like yesterday I was photographing her as a little baby and now she is walking and all over the place! We headed to Storyland in City Park to take these. 15 months is an age where they are on the GO! HAHA! I got my workout chasing Addi around the park! Thank you Tiffany for a great year! Reid finished up his final “Grow With Me” session this past Tuesday! It was kind of a funky day with the cloudy weather but we managed to get in a nice shoot, you couldn’t tell at all it was rainy :) I always have a great time wit his Mom, Sarah – we manage to find something to laugh about! I loved the fire engine outfit she had, the Reid monogrammed birthday shirt and the overalls! Precious! His little firetruck even made in a few photos! Thank you Reid for a wonderful year of photos!! :)

I had a great time last week with Abel for his 6 month shoot! It’s crazy how fast time flies, feels like yesterday I was shooting his Mommy & Daddy’s Wedding at the Audubon Clubhouse! Now we were back again and little Abel is a sweet 6 months! His mom Katy is one of those people who is always in a good mood and has a smile on her face! She is such a joy to be around and always so uplifting. I love getting to talk with clients as friends and to hear all about life with a new baby. Katy makes it look so effortless and easy to be a Mom! She’s a natural! Here are my favs from his shoot, I can’t wait to see them for his 9 month session! He is just the most precious thing! Love his facial expressions! :)

I can’t believe sweet Josie is now ONE! Where did the time go? We had 5 awesome sessions this past year and she did great! I always joke with Josie’s Mom because she has this little lizard tongue that she sticks out all the time. It’s so funny! This time around we added her parents in for some shots. I know I say this all the time, but I get so attached to my Grow With Me clients. Their kids become a familiar face and always brighten my day! Josie’s Mom, Nicole even had a gift for me when I finished up with their session. A thoughtful note and a tranquility spa candle. I left their shoot thinking about how fortunate I am to have people like this in my life! Here are some of my favs from the day:

Anddd another ‘Grow With Me’ kiddo turns ONE! (tear) They just get big way too fast! I’ve always loved taking Patrick’s photos, he has the most beautiful blue eyes and the camera loves him! I could have taken him home with me when his Mom, Amelia dressed him in the white button down, jeans and baby tie! How cute is that?! Well it’s been a busy past few weeks around here, trying to get everyone their images back in time, all while taking care of my current portrait sessions. Please be patient with me guys :) I had two more shoots this morning! Looking forward to taking off tomorrow and spending the day with my family. I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Stella is another one of my “Grow With Me” kids! You will be seeing lots of my GWM Members on the blog over the next several weeks – it seems like they all hit their session marks at the same time! ;) I loved all of Stella’s outfits and hats – too cute! We took these in my little green nook in River Ridge. She did awesome for her shoot, 3 months is always a tough age but Stella showed us! Her parents Lindsey and Randy also hopped in for a few!

It’s a bittersweet day when one of my “Grow With Me” kiddos wraps up their years worth of sessions! I hope to see Tyler and his parents in the near future, it’s always so fun getting to know their family over the time spent together. I’ve watched Tyler grow from a little peanut until now! He is walking all over and is such a big boy! He is adorable, I love his bright blue eyes!

I’ve photographed Mallory since she was a newborn, it’s been so fun to watch her grow over the past several months. Looking forward to her big girl shoot next time, she will be ONE!! It’s always nice to get some shots of her and older sister Madison together, too! My favorite part about photographing these girls is that Mom, Christi has shrines of my photography in her house :) We took these in their neighborhood, so I went to their home for a few minutes. I couldn’t be prouder – it makes me so happy to see my photos framed on the bookshelves, framed on the walls, coffee table albums made, announcements, etc! Christi takes full advantage of her sessions and photo CD’s and… I love it :) Thanks Christi!!

Here are some of my favs from our shoot:

I photographed Baby Giulianna last week for her 3 month shoot! She is a member of the “Grow With Me” club :) It’s always nice to get to catch up with her family, too! I’ve photographed a good bit for them over the past couple of years, which is always fun! This may have been our last warm day for shoots, however it gets a little toasty around noon time which is when I’ll be shooting my Godson Reed’s photos today!! Overall, I think the cool weather is here to stay. As far as Giulianna’s session, I loved all of her outfits- especially the Halloween one! I hope everyone had a safe and nice Halloween. I went to Tutti Frutti for a little bit last night to check out the crowd. My brother was doing another $2 all you can fill cup night – good turnout and fun to see the kiddos in costume.

Anyway, here’s some cute ones from Baby G’s shoot!!

Had fun with Addison last week shooting her 6 month photos!! She has the most beautiful eyes. Love getting to photograph all the kiddos lately and I’m really hoping the weather stays nice and doesn’t get too cold on us this year. Addison is such a doll, I can’t wait to watch her change over the next couple of sessions. I’m always a fan of the tutu’s, pearls and big bows :)

Reid was ready for his 9 month “Grow With Me” session and since it was around the upcoming Holidays, we also added big sister Bria in for a few too! :) Their mom, Sarah brought along these big pumpkins for us to use as props! Loved both sets of outfits! We took these in Rivertown which is always a cute place to photograph this age. Looking forward to Reid’s next session, the big ONE! Hard to believe it’s gone by so fast.

Madison did great for her photos last week! I love getting the opportunity to photograph my “Grow With Me” kids. Sometimes for their newborn shoots we don’t get to do certain poses with them because they aren’t ready at the time. Once 3 months comes, we seem to always be able to get some shots awake and some sleeping shots where we can position them in cute little ways! Looking forward to watching Madison grow older, its amazing how much she has changed just since I last photographed her!

Addison had a great session with me last week, she had the cutest little outfits!! We took these in River Ridge this time, where we always have lots of nice greenery in the backgrounds! Her grandmother made the prettiest butterfly smash cake that I had ever seen! Addison had a little bite, but I think we had worn her out with all the cute pictures in the beginning, haha! She did great… but the last fussy picture is priceless. When she grows up – those are the kinds of pictures you look back on and laugh and wonder where the time went!

I am so blessed to watch all my “Grow With Me” kids change over the years, each one having a unique personality. They make my days brighter and I love this about my job. This pretty weather has us all skipping to a new beat! It’s just awesome. I’ve been a busy bee lately, you can expect a fresh session just about every single weekday from now and until the end of the year ;)

Olivia is now 3 months and she is just beautiful! She is Cooper’s sister! You may remember Cooper, he was also a “Grow With Me” baby! It’s always nice to see the Rongey Family for their shoots- looking forward to the next go round! Olivia has the cutest little outfits, as always!

I had a great session with Lainey last week! Her mom, Dianna always has the cutest little outfits for her! Loved the Halloween attire! One of my favorite things about walking into a “Grow With Me” clients home is seeing all of my photos scattered throughout the house. What a treat to see my photos in print – so often I don’t get to see them come to life! Looking forward to watching Lainey grow up over the next year! :)

Ava has just completed her “Grow With Me” Package! This makes me so happy and so sad all at the same time! I can’t believe they change so fast! However, when Momma’s say they’ll see me again for 18 months and then yearly pics – that puts smile on my face :) I kind of get attached to all these babies. They’ve given me my fair share of baby fever over the past year or so. I can’t get over that I have nearly 20 children who have become members of Grow With Me! Needless to say, they are all so special to me. Of course, their parents are too for trusting me and having me capture the first year in their baby’s life. SOOOO beautiful!!! Time for CAKE!!!

Josie Girl! I can’t believe how awesome she did this time around! As a “Grow With Me” babe, I can honestly say this was her best yet. I love seeing Josie and her mom, Nicole. Her mom is one of those people you feel like you’ve known your whole life! Always a breathe of fresh air and makes me laugh. Josie does this thing with her tongue where she sticks it out and smiles really big. While editing, all I could hear in my head was “lizzard, lizzzard, lizaard” – which is what Nicole says when she does that! It’s the cutest thing, haha!

These were taken at Audubon Park – I love the outfits! The first lemonade dress was adorable, ruffles like that always photograph so well. Saints dress was a must, too!

Tyler is now 9 months and sweeter than ever! He did great last week for his session. We hit up Rivertown Heritage Park this time! He looked so handsome dressed in his polo outfits. That blue shirt really brought out his eyes. Next go round he will be ready for some balloons and a cake- it’ll be his ONE year shoot! Always fun to get to see his mom and dad too!

Well that’s enough work for today, it’s almost 6pm. I am ready to eat some dinner and tackle our guest bedroom. We are so close to finishing, I can almooosttt see it! I can’t believe we’ve been married for over a year and this project has taken us this long, haha!! Living life gets in the way sometimes ;)

I hope to share some photos tomorrow from our Annual friends trip to Florida that we went on this past weekend!

I think Patrick has the most beautiful blue eyes! They just pop against his dark brown hair. We photographed his 9 month session in Rivertown, which is quickly turning into one of my favorite spots for this age! This is when you can really start to notice the backgrounds and scenery. They are able to move around more, stand up while holding on to things and almostttt beginning to walk. Patrick did awesome, even with the heat! What a trooper! I can’t wait to see how much Patrick will have grown for our next shoot – the big ONE!

Also, I want to comment on Patrick’s outfits – those types of colors LOVE the camera, they just POP in all the photos. It’s awesome when I finish up editing a gallery and flip through the photos only to see all the rich, bright tones in the photos. Anyway, just a thought for my upcoming clients who are searching for their session outfits! :)

Mallory is growing up so fast! It feels like yesterday when I was taking her newborn photos. Now she has a great big smile and is starting to look more like her older sister, Madison. I love this age because they are finally starting to sit up on their own – it’s when you really can start to see them changing into a toddler rather than a little baby. We photographed this session at one of my favorite little greenery locations in River Ridge. I’m always trying to find new spots that are easy to access for the little ones! I will be on the hunt for some new props soon, too! I am slowly outgrowing storage space in the house… my chairs, rockers and baskets are out of control. I’ve already decided my next car will be in SVU just so I can haul it all around easier! Well here’s sweet Mallory, looking forward to the next go round!

Addison is a new member of ‘Grow With Me’, she is starting at the 3 month mark, which lots of moms do!! Here you will get to see her change and grow over the upcoming year! It’s so much fun to capture this age because they are finally able to sit up. They are so alert and they now can make lots of cute faces! Can’t wait til Reid’s next session.

Well I’m headed to Baton Rouge today for a Photography Seminar! This time it’s all about newborn and child photography, I am REALLY looking forward to it! I get to hang out with a few of my great friends who also do lots of kids photos :) I always love learning new things! Hope to have some new ideas to share soon!

Such beautiful blue eyes!He was letting us know HE was DONE! Sometimes I like getting these types of photos- every baby needs a crying picture ;) I just laughed when I looked at this photo and his outfit. “Don’t worry, be Crabby” came to mind!

Addi is another one of my ‘Grow With Me’ kids who gets more adorable at every session! We took these in Rivertown which is one of my favorite places to photograph this age, there are lots of cute backgrounds. Her mom, Tiffany made her some really cute bows for her shoot! Loved them!

It’s a busy weekend ahead with a rehearsal dinner to photograph tonight for my couple and then their Wedding to shoot tomorrow night. I have a crazy packed few weeks to get through until we are off to the beach again for double weekends in August. Although I mentioned taking August off – I know myself all too well and that didn’t happen! I’ll take a month off when I reallllllly needa take off. Until then… I just like what I do too much :) However, I will be blocking off some days around my brother’s Wedding festivities. (Late Aug/Early Sept) If you are interested in any type of shoot, please remember to book in advance. As ‘Grow With Me’ gets more popular, my weekdays are filling up fast. I can’t thank Cooper’s Mom, Kalee enough! She was the first person to call me and say, “Jen- I really think you should start some kind of “Grow With Me” Package.’ She called me once and I said, I’d get back to her. I wasn’t sure where to begin with this? I put it on the back burner. She called again a few weeks later to see what I had come up with! It was then I knew I needed to get this package started. I brainstormed a bit and I am SO HAPPY to now offer this. With 10 kids now members of this “club”, it’s made me realize how important this is! You child grows and changes so much within that first year, it’s just amazing. I wish I would do these sessions for free- that’s how much I love doing them. I get to truly know the child, I form a great relationship with the parents, the kids get used to the camera – it’s a win win for everyone. At the end of the year – you have all the photo CD’s! Each 3 months we have a shoot! It’s a fun experience :)

So enough of my rambling, here is COOPER!! He did so great for his one year session! His Mom started him at the 3 month mark, so here is what we’ve done so far!

It’s hard to believe that my first “Grow With Me” Package is complete. Faith was one of the first to jump on board over a year ago! I wrapped up the session and told Holly that I would miss taking Faith’s photos every 3 months! I watched her grow up before my very eyes, I can remember each session like it was yesterday.

After I got home from Faith’s session, I received an email from Holly….

Hey Jen,
Thank you so much for taking Faith’s pictures throughout this year. I got home today and went into her room and looked at all her past pictures hanging up on her bulletin board.  I was so happy to have such wonderful pictures of her, but I also had a sad feeling because I can’t believe her first year is over. I was admiring all her pictures and I am so grateful to you for taking such great pictures of her. I just wanted to say thank you and let you know that you are great at what you do. I am so fortunate to have so many beautiful pictures along with all the memories of her first year. We will always cherish the pictures that you have taken.
