Stephen & Heidi :: Maternity

I was so excited when Heidi contacted me about a Maternity session! Heidi and I used to work out at Guerre’s bootcamp together! She always helped motivate and push me along! When Heidi found out she was pregnant was around the same time that I pulled my back out, so I definitely miss our workout sessions together! I need to get back to working out regularly again!

We took these in City Park right before Mardi Gras. I loved all of the outfits! Such a sweet and fun loving couple and Heidi looks AMAZING! So beautiful, she’s just glowing. I had a great time with Stephen and Heidi and I can’t wait to meet their new little addition :) Here are some that I loved:

Stella :: 6 Months

Stella is cute as can be! I loved her little outfits that she wore for her shoot! Her eyes are just gorgeous! I was excited when her Dad brought me a couple of goodies on the day of her session. He loves collecting old rustic pieces and he knows I like them, too! I now have a really funky old white window pane that I can’t wait to do something with. It needs some photos and to be hung on the wall. He also gave me a little wooden bench as a prop that he found. I can’t wait to paint it! Thankful for my thoughtful clients!! YAY!

You wouldn’t believe the phone calls I get from clients or family members when they see props somewhere that I might like. Stuff at antique stores, on the side of road, where ever!! Our house is a bit taken over right now when all my odds and ends! I think I need storage unit, haha!

And… another one of my past brides has a BABY! :) I remember photographing Justin & Sarah’s Wedding like it was yesterday! Now they have the most adorable little girl and I am so excited to be documenting her milestones over the upcoming year. She is precious! She’s awake cracking up and then we have some of her sleeping! I love the outfits, the first one is just beautiful with the headpiece. Then of course you have to have a little fun sassy tutu outfit :) I can’t wait until our next session!

Wow, what an honor it is to photograph the first born for your good friends! I’ve known Wesley since we were children! His parents and my parents go wayyyy back! Then I met Erica around age 11 or 12! It’s so awesome to see these two get married and bring this precious miracle into the world! I photographed this session on Valentine’s Day morning! :) I am finally getting all caught up with editing. I took off a couple of days for Mardi Gras, but I have been sitting at my computer the last 2 days pumping out some great images for my clients!! I am excited about all that will be on the blog in the next few days :)

Let me just tell you.. this was probably the coldest session I’ve ever photographed! This group surely knew how to roll with the punches when it came to the weather, I think it was around 34 degrees that morning! I had a great time photographing Erin’s Maternity session, it was nice to add her family in for some, too! I am looking forward to meeting her little man next month when he gets here! He will be joining the Grow With Me club- can’t wait!!

Just a reminder to expectant Mom’s… please get in touch with me well in advance to book your newborn shoots- I’ve been having to turn alot of shoots away lately because of waiting too late to book. Right now I’m booking for late June – July is almost full.
