Butch & Stephanie :: Wedding

Butch & Stephanie married on April 9, 2011, it was such a beautiful day! I simply adore DAY TIME Weddings. The sunlight, the mood, everything! Preparation began at Butch & Stephanie’s home, the Ceremony was at Holy Name of Jesus Church and the Reception was at The Pavilion of Two Sisters. (Where my own reception was- always love shooting there!)

You may remember their Engagement session I photographed not long ago, they are adorable together! It’s been awesome getting to know them better over the past few months. I loved working with Erin Steen Flowers and Suzette with UpSa Daisy Salon for makeup! I also used them for my Wedding last year. It’s always fun to see my vendor friends :)

So, Butch & Stephanie – THANK YOU for allowing us to capture such a special day, everything turned out perfectly! I hope you guys enjoyed your honeymoon!

Adele Phae :: Newborn

I had the pleasure of photographing my childhood friends little girl recently! Ali, Steve and Big Brother Beau welcomed Miss Adele to this big ole’ world just a couple of weeks ago! I think she looks so much like Beau when he was a baby, something about those eyes and lips! Even though I don’t get to see my BFF Ali that much, nothing has changed. I can go months without chatting with her and the next time I run into her; it’s the same old friendship we had way back when. We still goof off and make each other laugh. Her kids are a direct reflection of her sweet and bubbly personality. She always has a smile on her face! I could go on for days about how much her friendship means to me and how far we go back, but it might take me a while. haha!

So here is the new addition to the Curtis family…. Adele Phae :)

Bookings/Schedules/Life/Updates/Etc

A couple of updates really quick: I have a pretty heavy schedule this week, 5 sessions and a Wedding this Saturday. Editing every moment in between, just trying to keep up. Looking forward to a little mini R&R trip next week with friends. I’m afraid I won’t be able to take many more sessions until June. With the weather change: April and May booked up really fast. If anyone has been thinking about booking a session with me, please get in touch with me soon. Right now I am booking portrait sessions for June & July, in hopes to take the month of August off. (minus my ‘grow with me’ kids who have first priority with their shoots if any fall in August). I will not be taking any more Weddings for 2011. Right now for Weddings, I am only booking 1 year in advance, which is April 2012. As always, thank you for the constant love and support! Look forward to sharing a ton of new shoots and weddings with you guys in the upcoming months!!! :)

Reid :: 3 Months

Hey gang!! Do you guys remember Reid? I photographed his newborn photos not too long ago and now he is already 3 months old! His mom, Sarah brought along some cute props for our shoot. I love the baseball knit hat, the bat and glove! Reid has the most gorgeous blue eyes! I look forward to watching him grow over the next year!

2011 Mini Easter Sessions

I had a great time photographing all the kids this year for the Mini Easter Sessions! Thank you to everyone who came out! Sessions booked up really fast this year, so I am hoping I’ll have time to do it over a Saturday and Sunday in 2012. I love seeing all of my repeat clients, what a treat to capture all those cute little faces! As always, there was a mix of personalities!
