A Garden Tea Party!

I’m sure most of you will recognize Jen, she is my brothers fiance. I just photographed their Engagement photos last month. It was my pleasure to help host a party for Jen along with my Mom and Aunt Brenda. My Aunt has a beautiful garden that was the perfect setting for what we were going for. It ‘s been fun putting together the little details. (Tissue paper balls, clay pot & seeds party favors, tags for cupcakes and food, sign for the street, baking, making dishes, etc). If anything, it was fun to go back to my creative roots. It kind of felt like arts and crafts at one point. Always enjoy spending quality time with my family, too. Overall, looking back though the photos, I think it turned out really cute. I can’t believe Chris and Jen’s Wedding is just 4 months away. Happy to be welcoming Jen into our family!

Here’s a little peek of our Saturday afternoon:

Mallory :: 3 Months

Mallory is growing up so fast! She is another one of my ‘Grow With Me’ Babes! I am so lucky to have both Mallory and her sister Madison as 2 new clients! Here is Mallory’s Newborn session I shot a few months ago, and I’m sure you remember her sister I posted a couple of days ago. Little Miss Dorothy! :)

It was one of those mornings when I woke up and checked the weather 15 times. Was it going to rain, not rain? One app on my phone said yes, one said no! We went ahead with our shoot and all was well! Thank goodness!

Mallory did awesome for her 3 month session, here are some I loved:

Seriously, could she be any more adorable?The sisters shared this Christening gown. How beautiful?? Love how their names are embroidered on the bottom of the dress!Little angel!Such a beauty!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Just wanted to take a second to say Happy Cinco de Mayo! This is one of my favorite days of the year. I mean who doesn’t like an excuse to eat Mexican and drink Margaritas?! Well maybe some people. But not this girl! I hope everyone is having a great day. I had an awesome newborn session this morning with my friends Larry & Leslie’s little baby boy Tripp! Headed to the grocery to buy taco fixings for tonight. Love low key dinners with friends ;)

Here is a peek of cute lil Tripp!

Tiffany :: Senior

I had a great time photographing Tiffany last week, she did awesome and really worked the camera! I hope to get some Seniors on board next year to do the “Rep” program where I will photograph a couple of Seniors from different high schools for free or discounted rate to get the word out. It’s one of those things that’s good to do since each year a new batch of Seniors comes along.

Tiffany had the best outfits, I loved her choices! She pretty much made my job easy- I could have photographed her all day! We headed to the French Quarter to take these and the weather was knocking at our door. It winded up being just fine and I’m glad we went ahead with our shoot!

P.S. My brother is just a week or so away from opening his Tutti Frutti yogurt shop in River Ridge. I CAN’T WAIT!!!

So here are some of my favs from the day:

Kyla :: 6 Months

I can’t believe Kyla is already 6 months old! Wow, has she grown fast. It feels like just yesterday I was photographing her parents Maternity session and taking her Newborn portraits. We headed to good ole’ City Park to take these and Kyla did great! She gave us so many smiles :) Right when her session wrapped up, her parents and grandmother were headed home to pack for Disney! I know they had lots of fun, I wish they could have put me in their suitcase. Haha!

Here are some that I loved from Kyla’s 6 Month session!

Those wittle lips!I love when they crack up like that!Seriously the cutest itty bitty bathing suit I’ve seen!!THOSE EYES!!!Can’t forget the SHADES!
