Josie :: 6 Months

Here is Little Miss Josie for her 6 month session! We headed to City Park to take these, I’m not going to lie it was a tad bit HOT that morning, but she hung in there to give us some smiles! Her Mom and I laughed because Josie kept sticking her tongue out!! Too cute!

I went prop shopping today with two of my photographer friends and I found some awesome stuff, I can’t wait to use it all! Sooo, now I just need a bigger car to haul all this stuff around! My trunk can’t fit another thing!

So here is Josie girl, adorable as can be!

Patrick :: 6 Months

Patrick has the most beautiful blue eyes! It was the first thing I noticed when I arrived for his session. He has the sweetest little face, too! I had a great time with Patrick and his mom, Amelia.

I hope you are all having a fantastic day. My brother opened his Tutti Frutti River Ridge yogurt shop yesterday! More to come about his shop and photos of the opening coming soon! Ava :: 9 Months

Good mornin’ World! Happy Saturday!!

Thought I would share some photos today of sweet little Ava! I photographed her this past week for her 9 month session. She is another ‘Grow With Me’ babe! I’ve had a lot of people inquire about this package that I offer. It’s become really popular and one of my favorite things to shoot. There is something so special about photographing the first year of a little one’s life. The kids become familiar with me and the camera and the best past is I get to create a friendship with their parents :)

I shot a Wedding last night, I should be sleeping in but instead I’ve been up doing laundry and cleaning house since 7am! I am so exited – our exterior garage renovation started this morning! YEA! Randy turned the garage into a band studio for he and his friends about 6 months ago, but we’ve been needing to get the outside redone for a while. So today is the day it begins! I will be so happy not to look at that eye sore in our backyard anymore! Our friends Stephen and Katie are getting married tonight! I can’t wait to go to a Wedding as a GUEST!!

So here is AVA!!! Always dressed so stinkin’ cute, I loved this session! She did great. Thanks Heather for allowing me to capture your little princess!

Ryan & Christine :: Wedding

Ryan & Christine married on May 20, 2011! Same day at my parent’s anniversary – they’ve been together for 34 years, AWESOME DATE! ;) I first met Christine at PJ’s Coffee in River Ridge, over a year ago! She was cute as can be and told me she had been following my blog for a while. She said she knew she wanted me as her photographer. I love meeting with brides like that! Makes my day! You may remember their Engagement photos I took back in January? They are the sweetest couple, it truly was an honor capturing their love!

Preparation for both the Bride and Groom was at the Royal Sonesta downtown, then we headed to St. Agnes Church in Jefferson for the Ceremony. The Reception was at beautiful Southern Oaks Plantation. My assistant Kacie and I had an awesome time with these guys! I loved the walking shots we were able to get of the guys back at the Royal Sonesta! Something about all the guys in their tuxes! That photo is a framer for sure!

Getting a little teary ;) Kinda makes me teary behind the camera!!Dancing with her Dad got her a little emotional again, I love shots like this!That little guys was so adorable!

Gia :: Maternity

I can always expect Gia or her Sister, Alicia to do an awesome job when it comes to how they want their portrait sessions to look! You may remember when I photographed Gia’s sister, Alicia’s Engagement photos? Both beautiful girls, the camera loves them! Last week I had the pleasure of photographing this session in City Park. There is this little “honey hole” spot that I found and I am obsessed with it, you can see more of that spot towards the end of the session. I love the overgrown grass, wild flowers and rustic look. We took these in the evening so we were getting great sunlight, too! Jared and John were there to join us, loved their matching outfits. Loved this shoot! My favorite thing is when clients have a “vision” for their shoot, it makes the sessions so much fun :) I’ve been waiting to share these for a while, I couldn’t wait to finish editing them!!

So here is Gia and her baby bump, gorgeous as can be!
