Scheyd Grandchildren :: Family

Woooow weee! Did I have some fun with this group! My friend Bridget contacted me about photographing all the grandchildren in the family since they were all going to be in town at the same time. It was a really busy week but there was NO WAY that I could turn them away :) I photographed Bridget and her husband Ryan’s Engagement Session, their Wedding and then their little Agnes Mae’s Newborn Shoot. I also photographed Bridget’s sister Colleen’s kids a couple of years ago, too! It truly was my pleasure to photograph this session for them.

The best part about it was this shoot was how candid it was. There was no stress on things needing to be “perfect.” The kids were just being kids: lollypops, sippycups, hair combs, toys- whatever worked! :) I know these are photos that the Scheyd Family will cherish for a long time, all the cousins in one picture! It’s been great getting to know this whole group over the past several years. They have such a close little bond between them all. It’s beautiful to see all the kids together.

Thank you guys for asking me to photograph your little ones, it was a fun day! All the shirts had their name initial on the front. The balloons brought in a little splash of color and was a perfect addition, I am so happy they brought those!

Waguespack’s :: Family

Last Friday morning I photographed the Waguespack’s. Tommy, Melissa, Trey, Caroline, and Ella were such a beautiful little family. We headed to Audubon Park and the weather was actually nice and cool for us. There was a slight breeze! This is another one of those sessions where I think the Momma will view her photos and wonder when her babies grew so fast! Melissa said they hadn’t taken family photos in a long time. It was truly a pleasure to photograph this group! I hope you enjoy their photos :)

Lainey :: Newborn

I photographed Lainey’s newborn session this past Thursday. She was soo incredibly good for me, she slept the whole time! I really don’t even remember her crying at all. Her brothers Hunter & Quinn were the most lovey, affectionate big brothers to Lainey. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of siblings to photograph. I am so excited that Lainey’s mom, Dianna has signed her up for the ‘Grow With Me’ Package!! Really looking forward to watching her change over the upcoming year.

Brett & Kelsey :: Wedding

Brett and Kelsey were an adorable couple! They married on June 18, 2011. It was great to work with Kelly & Tessa from Dyle Films as well as Groovy 7! They rocked the 4 hour Reception, the guests didn’t leave the dance floor!!

There was so much love between these two, lots of times while I was editing through their images… I would think to myself awwww... Brett and Kelsey just had this look in their eyes when they were around each other, total bliss!

I had a great time shooting their Engagement Session last year and even more fun photographing their Wedding. Such an energetic, sweet and beautiful couple! Thanks again guys for allowing me to capture such a memorable day!

My assistant Kacie and I rode in the limo bus with the Wedding Party, so we were able to get some cool shots on Brett & Kelsey in the Rolls!Rooftop photos before the Reception began, sun was going down… my FAVORITE time of day to shoot!Seriously, how cute are they?Mid JUNE Wedding! Audrey :: 6 Months

Soooo here comes another session that melted my heart! Sometimes while editing I image myself with a little family of our own – hoping and praying that we’ll be able to get images like this! Editing photos and listening to music makes me daydream about all kinds of stuff!! I photographed little Audrey when she was just a newborn… you may remember her. So this past Tuesday we shot her 6 month session. She was sweet as can be and I was so surprised to see how fast she has grown. What a beauty!! I had a great time with Steven and Kelly as well. They were great in front of the camera with Audrey.

So I am finished with my 6 sessions this week, I still have no idea how I managed to scare off the rain. It has drizzled or rained all throughout the week. God must be lookin’ out for me ;) I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, I can’t wait to catch up with my family and friends- it’s been a busy week! I had lots of posts over the last 5 days, be sure to check back next week for more! Thank you to everyone who has given me the honor to be your photographer, I can’t imagine my life without this career and passion.
