Reid :: 6 Months

Reid is another one of my “Grow With Me” cuties! He changes so much each time I see him. This past time he was so full of personality, love his smiles! It’s so much fun to capture this age because they are finally able to sit up. They are so alert and they now can make lots of cute faces! Can’t wait til Reid’s next session.

Well I’m headed to Baton Rouge today for a Photography Seminar! This time it’s all about newborn and child photography, I am REALLY looking forward to it! I get to hang out with a few of my great friends who also do lots of kids photos :) I always love learning new things! Hope to have some new ideas to share soon!

Here are some of my favorites from the day:

Such beautiful blue eyes!He was letting us know HE was DONE! Sometimes I like getting these types of photos- every baby needs a crying picture ;) I just laughed when I looked at this photo and his outfit. “Don’t worry, be Crabby” came to mind!

Samuel :: Newborn

Little Samuel is finally here! You may remember his parent’s Maternity session that I photographed last month? I was super excited when Samuel’s mom, Stephanie contacted me to photograph his newborn session as well! There have been so many little one’s being born lately. I have 3 more newborn shoots this week! They are so much fun to photograph, it really is interesting to see how similar yet different each baby is. Looking forward to watching Samuel grow up! His blonde hair and precious little nose just melted my heart! He was so tiny and cute!

Here are some of my favs from our session:

Tiny smile ;)Love when they yawn!Hey there!Love this one!

Olivia :: Newborn

Olivia’s mom, Kalee will always be special to me! She is now on Baby #2 and ‘Grow With Me’ round #2! She is the one who called me over a year ago and told me I should start up a Growing Baby package! Well I took her advice and I can honestly say it’s been such a blessing to get to photograph so many beautiful children throughout their first year! It has changed my business for the better.

I’ve enjoyed getting to know this group and it’s been a treat to watch their family expand! I had so much fun photographing Olivia, she has the chunkiest little cheeks! I could have eatin’ her up! I’ve never photographed a baby who smiled that much, I swear there was a good 5 minutes were she just kept doing it over and over again. In photographers land- it was perfect and I was in hogs heaven snapping away! Looking forward to watching Olivia grow up over the next year, we are going to have a BLAST! ;)

Palmisano’s :: Children

You guys may remember Egan and Bre? I’ve been photographing them since they were young! They now have a new little sister, 6 month old Liza! We took these at one of my favorite places to shoot, Rivertown Heritage Park in Kenner! There’s lots of fun little backgrounds for the kids. I love these photos, I swear I feel like they are just growing up before my eyes. Each one of them has such a personality – too cute! I was laughing while editing because Egan and Bre kept saying “cheeeeeessseeeee”! So there were so many photos of them cheesing, with there little necks straining because they were doing it so hard! So we finally came up a new word, “bumble bee”, so we could have more natural smiles :) Hey, whatever words!

As always, its a pleasure to photograph these kids! Here are some that I loved from their session:

A few sneak peeks!

Hey gang, so this is what I’m working on this week! It’s so funny because I’ll go through spurts where everyone seems to have their baby at the same time. I’ve done alot of newborn shoots lately and have a good bit coming up! Photographing children brings me so much happiness, I feel very lucky to get to capture all these adorable kids at such precious times in their lives!

Full posts coming soon, but here is just a few to share today :)
