The Button’s :: Family

I am so happy to have The Button’s as clients – what an adorable little family! Feels like yesterday I was taking Ellie & Beau’s photos last year and then doing Ellie’s one year session! It’s crazy how fast time has been flying by lately. Repeat faces are always fun :) We took these at Audubon Park, one of my favorite places for family sessions. I love the big ole’ oak trees. Makes me wonder how many years they have been there?! Love the feeling in these photos, I always like when a family can just let loose and relax and have fun in front the camera!

Here are some of my favs from our session!!

Reed :: Newborn

What an honor it was when my cousin Erin asked me to be Baby Reed’s Godmother! She gave me a framed ultrasound photo of him and it said “Hi Nanny!” in a little bubble. I look at it all the time and still can’t believe he’s here! The girls in the family went over to Erin’s house the week before Reed made his arrival. We cooked dinner and just hung out – it was nice and I wish we made more time for nights like that. Now when I go visit, it’s funny to see a new little person there :) Reed is so handsome and I can’t wait to see him grow up. It’s been fun to watch all the stages while we anxiously awaited his arrival.

Thank you to my Mother in Law for the new crocheted animal sets and my friend Leslie for the couple of hats she let me borrow for Reed. I am slowly building up my newborn accessory collection, lots of new kiddos are joining “Grow With Me”! I could buy everything off etsy! I have a few new hats I am about to order.

So here is the little sweetness! He gave me about 4 smiles during his shoot…… that’s because he knew his Nanny was taking his pictures ;)

Madden :: Newborn

You may remember Madden’s parent’s Maternity session I just shot – Danny and Ashley are the cutest! I was so happy when they signed up for “Grow With Me” with their new little bundle of joy – MADDEN! He is so handsome! Danny and Ashley had some fun ideas for Madden’s newborn photos, I love some of the big scale images. We took these last Friday, it was a bit cool but we carried around my handy little space heater with us and it kept Madden warm. He’s so precious and I can’t wait to watch this little guy grow up over the upcoming year :)

Here are some that I loved:

The Walker’s :: Family

I remember meeting Ashley and her Mom Diane several months back at a Wedding that I was shooting, they were both soo sweet! I was really excited when they contacted me about photographing their family! Some shots of Ashley, her husband and 2 boys and then some of her niece, and then we did some of Ashley’s parents with all the grandchildren! It was a beautiful day and we were able to get some cute shots! I remember that morning they kept playing the “Happy Baby” song on their phones to get the kids to smile! I swear while editing, I couldn’t get that song out of head!! I may need to start playing this for some of my kids shoots, it REALLY worked!! So funny :)

Here are some of my favs from our session:

This photo makes my heart happy ;)And here comes “HAPPY BABY” Dance!!! So funny!Cutest little fam!LOVE!Some single shots of the kiddos!

Craig & Dana :: Wedding

Dana’s family and my husbands family go wayyy back! They all grew up on the same street in River Ridge. I’ve heard lots of stories about grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch, the countless dinners they had together and growing up like siblings! Older sister Jenny used to babysit for Randy and Dustin. The stories are priceless! What an honor it was when Dana asked me to photograph her Wedding! I loved Dana and Craig’s Engagement session we took and I was really looking forward to their Wedding.

Craig & Dana married on October 22, 2011. Prep was held at their home, Ceremony at St. Rita Church and Reception at Champagne Palace. It was such a beautiful night, but even more special to be surrounded by such loving people. All with a smile on their face and all so happy to be in that present moment. I am obsessed with son Gavin and I think he’s the cutest kid ever! He shared so many special moments with his Momma that day. The look on his face as she walked down the aisle got me teary.

Loved this Wedding and spending time with such a precious family! Here are some of my favs:
