Audrey :: 1 Year

I always have so much fun photographing sweet Audrey! It seems like yesterday I was photographing her Newborn and 6 month sessions! They just grow up before your very eyes! Her parents are always great to be around too, lots of laughs and smiles! I was happy they jumped in for a few photos with Audrey. We took these at one of my popular spots – Audubon Park. I love the scenery there for this age. Audrey is just a ball of energy, we got a ton of different looks that truly show off her personality! I will miss her cute little face and hope to see The Allen Family again in the future!! As always, here’s a few that I loved:

The Naccari’s :: Family

I’ve enjoyed getting to know The Naccari Family over the years! They are friends with a big group of families that also come to me throughout the year to have their photos taken as well! We took these last week at Audubon Park and it was a wee bit cold! Our weather has been so goofy lately, I am not sure what to think! I am looking forward to the warmer weather. As much as I like wearing my tights, boots and scarves this time of year – I’m craving the nice spring/summer weather! I had fun with this group, always great to photograph familiar faces :)

Marc & Caitlin :: Engagement

I have been friends with Caitlin since were in High School and our relationship has grown so much over the years! There were the High School parties and late night phone calls, our memorable years together at LSU, and now that we are older our dinners and get togethers with friends! It’s been over 10 years and still at any moment I could pick up the phone and call Cait whenever I need her. I’ve also been friends with Marc for a long time, so it was really fun to see two of my long time friends get engaged! I am SO HAPPY for you guys!!

We took these over in the rustic areas of City Park and then over by Algiers Point! Caitlin and Marc have a great chemistry and honestly it wasn’t until I was alone with these two that it really came out. They have such a sweet and playful relationship that makes you just want to smile! Anyone who knows Caitlin knows about her famous LAUGH. You can hear her from a mile away, that’s one of the reasons I love her!

Thank you Marc & Cait for allowing me to capture this time in your life, what a precious couple! I wish you much happiness in the years to come! Love you guys!

The Amato’s :: Family

So much to say about this session, where do I begin! This is my beautiful family that lives in New York. My cousin Tre married a girl named Jennifer and they had two gorgeous children. Yes, her name is Jen and she makes the 3rd JEN AMATO! ;) There’s myself, my sister in law, and then the Jen that lives in New York! We are so thankful to get to see them 2-3 times a year when they visit us here in Louisiana. Usually over the summer and then again at Christmas time! Tre & Jennifer’s kids are always so sweet and truly are a joy to be around. I was so honored to photograph their family while they were here in town for the Holidays. Jen always looks amazing with her cute little New York fashion, Alice is always in her pretty dresses and Tre & Jen joke about how little Jacob only wants to wear his sweats! Thankfully, he dressed up for his shoot and looked quite handsome!

I really enjoyed photographing my cousins while they were here in town, it was such a beautiful Friday! Tre, Jen, Alice & Jacob – thank you for allowing me to capture such a priceless time in your life. The precious bond between Tre & Jen as parents and the love for their children really shined through in this session. Alice & Jacob are at such a tender and innocent age that it makes me want to tear up! They have such a great sibling bond! While editing I couldn’t help but have a smile on my face, I would share every single photo if I could, I loved all of them!

Once again, I am reminded how blessed I am to be able to capture life on camera. A gift that I could never tell God enough how appreciative I truly am. My career has opened my eyes to so much within this big old world. Photography is what has help mold me into who I am today. I see life through a different set of eyes now, I’m so thankful for the little things.

As always, here are some of my favs:

Morgan :: 2 Years

I photographed this little cutie back in June of 2011 for her 18 month photos! I was so excited when her Mom, Stefanie emailed me to take more photos of Morgan for 2 years!! :) I really love the way this session came out, I seriously could take Morgan home with me. Her brown hair and brown eyes remind me of myself as a child! I get so much joy watching my clients kiddos grow up before my very eyes. We had a gorgeous day at the park last week, wish all days were that pretty! Here are some that I just adored:
