Daniel & Melissa :: Wedding

Daniel & Melissa married on Friday, February 3, 2012! Preparation was held at Melissa’s brothers home, the Ceremony was at St. Dominic Church in Lakeview and the Reception was at beautiful English Turn! I had so much fun photographing Daniel and Melissa’s Engagement session and Melissa’s Bridals. These 2 are so laid back and make such a cute match! Their Mardi Gras striped shirts made a few appearances throughout the day! I love how it’s their little inside joke! It’s always nice to capture such a sweet relationship on their special day! Thank you guys for being so awesome, we loved your Wedding!!! By the way, Daniel and Melissa had an artist at the reception who was painting a canvas right on the spot! He captured the dance floor perfectly and I am soooo jealous I didn’t know about this when I got married. His name is Alex Harvie! I was in awe the entire night watching him paint! What a priceless treasure to hang on your wall!! Just like photos ;) Great working with Shannon & Suzette from UpSa Daisy Salon, Kirk & Lillie from One Louder Videography and the Mixed Nuts!

Here’s a photo from the Orpheus Ball we went to last night :) We had a blast with all of our friends! Best way to watch a parade!! The Mardi Gras Balls are the way to go! Back to business tomorrow with emails, editing and blogposts!!

HAPPY LUNDI GRAS YALL! We have been having some fun here in New Orleans and enjoying our city! Looking forward to going to the Orpheus Ball tonight with our friends!! :)

I photographed Melissa’s Wedding a couple of weeks ago and I have been waiting to share her Bridals! Looking forward to sharing her Wedding images this week on the blog too :) We took these at City Park and it was a gorgeous day! Melissa looked beautiful!!

Max :: 1 Year

It’s already been 1 year since I photographed Max’s Newborn photos… and now look at him! The big ONE!! We took these at City Park and his parents joined in for a few, too! Max did awesome for his shoot, I swear out of all the images I took… he was smiling in 90% of them! Such a smiley, happy baby!! I loved the outfits that his Mom, Chrissy made. The little onesie he wore at the end was precious! She took a white onesie and sewed suspenders and a tie on the front from fabric and ribbon!! LOVE!!

I had so much fun photographing this crew! Mason, Milly & Mary Margaret are a trip! I tip my hat to their Mom, Cori for having 3 babies under the age of 3! At this age, you just document what you can get ;) I am so happy to have gotten some smiley pics from them! We went to Audubon Park to take these and I’m happy the weather was nice and warm for us!
