Jonathan & Ashlie :: Wedding

Jonathan & Ashlie married on April 14th, 2012! Preparation was at Embassy Suites, Ceremony was at St. John the Baptist Church and the Reception was at The Chicory! It’s been so fun getting to know Jonathan and Ashlie over the past several months… you may remember their Engagement Session with their dog Mollie and Ashlie’s Bridals that I posted on Friday. Such a fun-loving, adorable couple that truly enjoyed their big day! My regular second shooter Kacie was a bridesmaid in another Wedding this night, so a special thanks to my photography friend Jackie Landry for being my fill in second shooter. We had a blast – it’s always so fun to work with your friends :) Kelly & Tessa from Dyle Films did the video, so nice to work with those girls, too!

I photographed Ashlie’s Bridals last month and I couldn’t wait to share them! She is stunning! Ashlie is a Hornet’s HONEYBEE! We took these in the French Quarter, I love all the colors and textures. Our friends David and Ashley welcomed their 2nd daughter Drew Vivian into the world last month. Drew is about 5-6 weeks in these photos, but she came early so she is still tiny :) You may remember Drew’s sister Sophia? I photographed her last year for her 1 year portraits. Looking forward to watching Sophia and Drew grow up with that special sister bond. It’s always exciting when someone close to me has a baby! I had a great time photographing Carlie’s 1 year session! She is cute as a button :) I am loving all the summer, monogrammed, ruffle bottomed outfits lately! My client’s surely know how to dress their little ones! We walked the park and found some fun little spots for Carlie. Pretty soon I am going to need a bigger car for all my chairs and props. I’m thinking I might look for a small prop carrying wagon of some short to push around the park. HAHA!

Madison :: 9 Months

Sweet Madison is growing up so fast! As I sit at my desk and type this…. I just looked up to see her newborn announcement on my bulletin board above my computer! That feels like yesterday. I am really looking forward to her 1 year session coming up soon – those are always fun!

We took these at Audubon Park and the weather was gorgeous! Her outfits were precious, too!
