Aubrey :: 6 Months

Well I’m back from my 5 day vacation to the beach! I had a wonderful time with my family. I’ll share a little more and hopefully post some photos from our trip soon. I’ve been home since 2pm and I’ve barely stopped since I walked in the door. Just trying to pick up with what I had left to do before vacation. I have some catching up to do with work and then I plan on writing out a long blog post of whats been up with life and business lately….! As soon as I catch a breather, I’ll resume my personal posts again!

I’ve been looking forward to sharing these images with you all! I took these photos of sweet Aubrey last week and she did wonderful! So full of smiles and happiness :) We took these at Aubrey’s Aunt’s home in Old Metairie. Such beautiful backgrounds, both inside and outside of the house – loved it!! I can’t wait until this little cutie’s 9 month session!

Here are some favs:

Dustin & Tiffany :: Wedding

Dustin and Tiffany married on May 4, 2012 at Nottoway Plantation –  prep, ceremony and reception were all held at this beautiful southern venue. I’ve known Tiffany for a while since we both have mutual friends from High School – I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her BIG DAY! I had a blast seeing lots of people I knew at the Wedding, this crew surely knows how to have a good time. I think the guests danced from the minute the first dances were over – all the way until midnight when it ended. I found myself dancing and cracking up several times behind the camera, you couldn’t help but just smile and have a good time!

Thank you Dustin and Tiffany for allowing me to capture your Wedding, it truly was an honor. You guys are adorable together, the Wedding was beautiful! Here are some that I loved from the day:

The white room at Nottoway is GORGEOUS!Photobooth fun!

Jordan & Jordan :: Engagement

YES! You read that right – Jordan and Jordan! I had a great time photographing this sweet couple with the same name :) When assisting them with posing, I referred to them as Guy Jordan and Girl Jordan. That’s what they said their friends call them! We took these in the Botanical Gardens at City Park and then a few in the more traditional parts of the park. It was a beautiful day – not too hot and slightly breezy. I’ve really been enjoying the weather lately and I always love an excuse to be outside soaking up some sun and fresh air!

Here are some that I loved from their session:

This is where Jordan proposed to Jordan, so we did a little reenactment as a keepsake :)

Cami :: 5 Years

I’ve been photographing Cami’s cousins Cooper and Olivia for quite some time now! I was excited when I was asked to photograph Cami’s 5 Year session :) We took these in Rivertown and the cousins also jumped in for a few. I think we were able to sneak a few cute smiling ones in there for their grandmother! I loved the girls dresses!

Here are some of my favs!

The Olwell’s :: Family

You guys get to view more of my family today! This is my cousin Erin and her family. Justin, Ryan and new baby Reed! These were taken at Audubon Park, we did a few more of Reed a couple of days later to make sure we got enough of him at 6 months! He is getting so big, so fast!! My favorites are the ones of him with the tie on in the basket. Love those rolls! Reed is my godchild, so this session is very special to me.
