A couple of weeks ago we welcomed the newest member into our family. My cousin Kelly had her third child… Katherine Amelia! She is cute as a button and we all can’t get over how much she looks like her older brother, Ben. Last week I went to visit and snap some photos of Sweet Kate. She did great! I love the photos of the 3 Kiddo’s together as well. There’s something about taking pictures of siblings at home. I’m always outdoors shooting in natural light, but I like the simplicity and comfy feeling of the kids with their little sister in bed.

It’s still hard to believe that my cousin and her husband have brought 3 beautiful children into the world. Seems like yesterday that my brothers and all the cousins were running around as children ourselves…. filming magic shows and fake foldger’s coffee commercials! We had so much fun together!

Adam :: 3 Months

What a joy it is to photograph this little guy! I remember taking his Mommy’s Maternity pictures like it was yesterday! It was the coldest day of the year. Still get chilly thinking about it! When Adam was born, he was diagnosed with a rare blood disease called TARS. He doesn’t produce platelets in his blood, so he’s going to need plenty of platelet transfusions over the next year. A side affect of TARS is that he was born without arms.

This Saturday, there is a benefit cabbage ball tournament for Adam. I am giving a gift certificate, if any of you reading this would like to donate money or a gift certificate, please let me know! My best friend is having a…. BOY!

This past weekend my friends Tim & Dana had a ‘Gender Reveal’ Party! They are expecting a little BOY in November! This has got to be one of the most exciting things ever, I think I was as nervous as them before cutting the cake! For those of you who don’t know how this works. Dana had her ultrasound done on Friday, without looking at the gender photo – she took that straight to the bakery. The bakery made her a cake filled with BLUE icing. Tim & Dana cut the cake to find out that they were going to have a little boy! You may remember their Bahamas Wedding back in 2010? Anyway, just wanted to share a few photos from the day! We had such a great time with our friends :)

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this adorable family for a couple of years now. Beau and Ellie are just precious… and guess what… Baby #3 is on the way :) Looking forward to that newborn session coming up soon! And another one of my “Grow With Me” kiddos turns ONE! I get so sad that I won’t see them every 3 months anymore. I miss their sweet little faces! Lainey did great for her one year session, her outfits are always precious :)
