I had a great time photographing The Melerine Family last week! Grant turned the big ONE!! We started off with some family shots on Oak Street and then ended with some solo shots of Grant for his birthday!! It was really really cold last Tuesday, temps were in the 40’s! We started off fine with the family shots, but Grant was cold and wasn’t feeling being outside to finish his shoot. I had a great idea to finish up our session at my uncle’s restaurant, “Mother’s” downtown. Their exposed brick walls and Christmas tree were such a cute look. Then we did an outfit change and walked over to the “W” hotel! As you all know, I don’t photograph inside unless it’s a newborn shoot. A light bulb went off for this session and I really LOVE the way the indoor shots turned out :) Here are some of my favs from their session:

Oliver did awesome for his 3 month shoot! Always fun getting to catch up with his Momma while I photograph her kiddos! I also captured Oliver’s sister, Josie’s first year as well :) We took these in River Ridge last week and I was so happy with all the smiles that Oliver gave us! His outfits were precious too, can’t wait to see how much he changes by our next session. Here are some I loved:

I had a great time photographing sweet little Alyssa last! She gave us some smiles in there :) We took this in my fav little spot in River Ridge for 3 month sessions. It’s always nice, green and pretty… love my little white picket fence, too! Alyssa’s outfits were adorable… I can’t wait to watch this cutie grow over the upcoming months!! I always love photographing Julia! What an adorable face… I could just eat her up! Funny thing is, she reminds me alot of myself as a baby. Those big brown eyes, brown hair and cheeks!! She did wonderful for her 6 month session, couldn’t have asked for a better shoot. Tons of smiles! Her outfits were very cute, too! Here are some I loved from our session at Audubon Park!!
