I have totally neglected the blog this week and I apologize! I’m really not sure where the time has gone, but its not like me – I usually update the blog everyday with at least SOMETHING! Photo sessions, random stories and pictures, you name it! I guess you could say I kind of got in a blogging rut, I couldn’t think of anything worth posting. Next week will be different, I promise! Ideas are always welcome- if you have things you would like me to post more of.
Here’s my deal – I get my inspiration from photography and when my camera doesn’t see the light of day enough… I get frustrated. I get bummed out and this is totally my fault. Just because a week goes by and I may not have any photo sessions booked (darn weather!!) doesn’t mean that my camera should be locked up in its bag. I should have been out shooting something, anything! I guess I can’t get too down on myself- I booked 4 new weddings in the last couple of weeks. Anyway- back to my point. I just got home from shooting a Maternity Session and it was like a light bulb went off. Here came my inspiration, my confidence, my hope, my passion – its expressed in the smile on my face and the chills I get after a really great shoot. It’s weird, its like I can breathe again! I guess that’s when you know its your thing – it just feels right, its like a relief.
I can’t wait to share pictures with y’all next week from the Maternity Session I shot today. You know how I have been doing bootcamp? Well the session today was with Guerre (the bootcamp trainer) and his prego Wife Holly! They are so cute together, I’ll show some on Monday- we had so much fun this afternoon! Tomorrow I shoot one of my Portrait Session Giveaway WINNERS! This family will be decked out in their black and gold – can not wait for this shoot tomorrow!! I plan on taking lots of pics on Superbowl Sunday too. Next week I’ll have tons to share – thanks for always coming back!! Happy Superbowl Weekend :) GO SAINTS!!!
