This past Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Sam & Cris’ Wedding. I enjoy shooting day weddings because you can get some fantastic lighting! I knew when I first met Samantha at our wedding meeting over a year ago that we were going to hit it off. She is so sweet and caring, which is easy to sense when you take one look at her smile. The day we met up for their Engagement Session, we strolled the French Quarter and found some really great spots. I could tell the way that they looked at each other that there were tons of love and happiness between these two. The session ended when the rain came pouring down. To this day- its one of my most favorite Engagement Sessions to date, we couldn’t have asked for a better closing to their session. It felt like we were in a movie.
Samantha went to school to study Theatre and now she is pursuing her passion. Cristian is in the US Navy and I must say… I love photographing grooms in uniform! It always makes for a very memorable wedding and one that I am truly honored to be a part of! As I was editing, I noticed Samantha with a constant smile on her face, she was just glowing that day. I couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear because I could just feel the emotion pouring out from both Sam and Cris.
