Jessica & Sean were married on November 14, 2009. Preparation began at The Bourbon Orleans downtown, followed by a “First Look” in the courtyard of the hotel. After this, we had about an hour to walk the French Quarter and take photos along the streets of New Orleans, we got some really fun shots! The ceremony took place at St. Dominic on Harrison in Lakeview and the reception was at Chateau Country Club. I knew from when I first met Jessica last year that I was going to love photographing her wedding, she was very organized and into little details- just like me. Jess would call or email every now and then just to chat about wedding plans and talk about how the day would unfold, it was a pleasure to work with her.
As mentioned, Jessica and Sean wanted to experience the “First Look”, which is becoming quite popular with weddings today. It’s where the Bride and Groom see each other before the Ceremony starts, often known to calm nerves and rid the anticipation of walking down the aisle for the first time :) It was very special and I was excited to capture that memory for Jessica and Sean. Thank you both for allowing Dre and I to be a part of your wedding day, your love is reflected in each one of your photos. I hope you both had a fabulous honeymoon!
