One of the cool things about my job is that I get to meet lots of different people! No bride, groom or portrait session client is ever the same. Each day I get to experience meeting and working with someone new! When I shoot Weddings, its almost as if I get to live inside someone elses world for a brief moment. I get to meet their family, the wedding party, and sometimes get to see where the bride grew up. As I edit through hundreds and hundreds of wedding day photos, I get to watch their day unfold from start to finish. For this, I feel lucky :) This was another wedding that I’ve photographed since being married and I can honestly tell you it feels different now. I’m able to wrap my head around the emotions of the day and now I know what it’s like to be in their shoes ;)
Speaking of shoes….. Check out Courtney’s Wedding kicks…. yes high top Chuck Taylors! She had them made on the Converse website, they were all white including the soles and she also had “I LOVE YOU” monogrammed on the back. I’m sure her feet were thanking her! Preparation was at Courtney’s parents home, the Ceremony was at St. Cletus Church in Gretna and the Reception was at The Four Columns.
