I photographed Liz and Henry’s Wedding on May 1st. This was my last wedding booked before I say “I DO” myself! Last year during booking season, I turned down probably eight weddings between May and June 2010. I knew I would need the time off to finish last minute wedding planning, boy was I right! The next wedding I photograph, will be in July. I’m very curious to see how my perspective will change once I have walked in the footsteps of my brides.
Prep began at Liz’s parents home in Covington, LA. The ceremony was held at St. Peter’s Chuch and the Reception was at Vintage Court. I love day weddings because there is always extra time to sneak away with the bride and groom to get some outdoor photos of them. Vintage Court had big beautiful oak trees that literally acted as umbrellas during our mini portrait session.
