Came across this picture and thought it was pretty funny! It’s a picture of me all decked out in my Jennifer dress and Jennifer name tag. This reminded me that no one really calls me Jennifer anymore. When I started High School all of my friends just started calling me Jen, so since then its just stuck. The best part is, I still make this face. The half smile, half smirk!
This quote goes with my post from Tuesday about making time for ourselves and not always having to be perfect. I find this quote to be very true and have witnessed it first hand as I’ve chosen to make sure God plays an important role in my life. “As your faith is strengthened you will find that there is no longer the need to have a sense of control, that things will flow as they will, and that you will flow with them, to your great delight and benefit.” ~ Emmanuel Teney
Last night I went to Chris (my brother) & Jen’s house because they are having Randy’s ‘Honey Do’ Shower for us this weekend. As we were cooking dinner and setting up for the party, Jen and I started talking about church….which reminded me of the House Blessing! I’ve been carrying around this bag I received from church a few weeks ago. The priest blessed the chalk and he told us to write the Epiphany Blessing “20+C+M+B+10” on the brick of our houses with the chalk. I’ve been going around blessing everyone’s house! :)
