Life has been busy lately. Alot of.. go go go. Maybe it just feels that way because of whats been going this week. The 6 month old dishwasher went out (good thing its under warranty), someone sideswipped my car the other night coming home from dinner (rental cars, insurance claims, etc…), and then Randy decided he wanted to redo the garage and it looks like bomb went off in the backyard (yippie). When stuffs not in order, I just feel a mess!
Sometimes I forget how to slow down, stay home and do nothing. The other night, Randy and I just sat on the front porch, sipped on a beer and talked. Every now and then we get too busy to talk and tell each other whats going on. Random stuff like: planning the next time I’m going to cook for the whole family at the house, about possibly going up to Baton Rouge this weekend to visit friends, the cat needs more food, we need to pressure wash the house, our upcoming schedules, etc… The days slip away fast.
On another note, I brought Lexie to the groomers today. She has always had long long hair. She’s been trimmed but never shaved or clipped short. I decided she needed a little change, its just so darn hot outside lately! Well they cut a couple of inches off and she looks so cute! I picked her up and you would have thought she was a puppy again! Jumping around and acting crazy. Randy and I baby talked to her when she pranced in the door… “Ohhh my little lexie lou, you look so cute! awww girlie! come here!” As we fluffed up her hair. She loved it. I can’t believe miss priss is already 5 years old! Her cut today reminded me of the first day I brought her home. So white and clean!
