Beau Thomas Curtis was born on June 27, 2009. I just took Ali’s Maternity Session last month, so I was anxiously awaiting the arrival her little man!
This shoot was extra fun because Beau decided to wee on just about everything we placed him on! We laughed each time we had to change out one of his blankets or one of the decorative throws. That’s what we get for leaving Beau without a diaper for too long. I was just hoping he wouldn’t decide to tinkle in my Dad’s cowboy hat I brought as a prop, HA! That wouldn’t have been good.
At one point, Ali calls her husband Steve and says, “Babe, come home for little bit, you’re needed on set!” I’m still laughing about this, there were props everywhere, lamps plugged in here and there for certain lighting effects, cell phones going off, wee blankets that needed to be washed, people coming in and out. Ali- you will ALWAYS find a way to make anything funny, we can just look at each other silly and we both start laughing. You are going to be such a wonderful & fun loving mom :) Can’t wait to take your babes photos as he grows right before your eyes!
I’m thrilled to have been given the opportunity to take Beau’s Newborn photos, I really enjoy photographing babies. They are so tiny and you can basically curl them up and put them just about anywhere and they look so sweet and innocent. It’s so much fun finding cool things around the house to photograph them near, on, or around!
