Last night one of my best friends graduated from Law School! Ty, I am so proud of you! Tyler and I have been friends for over 10 years. We met freshman year at Dominican where we both attended High School. We then moved to Baton Rouge and went to LSU. We lived together all 4 years while we were there. We had so many fun times together over the years, I can’t even remember them all! I cherish her so much and I am honored to call her my friend. She is always there for me, through the good and bad. She is always so understanding and listens whenever I need someone to vent to. Many times throughout the wedding planning process, she has taken the reigns when she knows I need help. No questions asked, hands down- she’ll get it done!
We are so alike and so different at the same time. We both work hard, stay extremely organized, and obsess about little details. On the other hand, as far as our personalities, I can be a bit sweet and spicy ;) were as Ty is always calm, collected and easy going. She is one of the smartest people I know and my favorite part of all is that… she knows it :) She helped me countless times writing papers all through college!! She always seems to know the words to songs, the titles of movies and the dates of weird things that happened in the history books. (It’s funny because Randy is the same way, they both retain random information)
Sometimes I think I could write a book about the personalities of each one of my friends. It’s crazy how much you learn from them and how they play a huge impact when it comes to molding you into the person you become. I always look at it like this – okay, if they’re busting their butts, I want to make sure I’m doing the same thing! I really think we all push each other along. My friends are part of the reason why I have chosen to pursue my passion of photography. I can remember throughout college, they were always my guinea pigs for photo assignments and what not! Over the past few years, I’ve noticed now that my group of friends and I have moved into the real world and we now have our labels. (The photographer, the pharmacist, the lawyer, the teacher, etc…) Time flys.
Here’s a couple of pics from us last night from my point & shoot camera:

After the graduation, we had a delicious dinner at Cafe Giovanni downtown- YUM!!
