It’s a new day, a new week! The sun in shinning and the birds are chirping outside my window. And every now and then I can hear “ooowwwhh owwwwhhh.” There is an owl that lives in this tree in our neighborhood. To be honest- sometimes he’s quite annoying when I’m trying to work. Randy likes him and says it reminds him of those sound machines that help you sleep and it makes him feel nature-ish. (Yea! Just what I need, to fall asleep while I’m working. I usually turn Pandora up louder to block out the noise) Ah whatev! It’s a tad overcast today, but at least the suns out. I’m sure this happens to you all too, but when its nasty outside all I want to do is crawl in bed and nap. (Like I did yesterday!) I took complete advantage of the Lord’s day of rest. I woke up, went to PJ’s for coffee and to meet a potential bride. Afterward, I went to church and to grab some lunch with Randy. Came home and took a 2 hour nap while it rained. It was nice, I needed it. However- I did not enjoy being up til 2am this morning, wide eyed!
I won’t lie- I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. All my really big shoots and weddings are completed until July. I’ve had a wedding almost every weekend since March and the dancing school shoot in the middle of it all. I now just have editing, package stuffing and a few shoots over the next couple weeks and then its smooth sailing until my wedding. I am looking forward to my upcoming sessions because we’re going to try out some new locations, yessss! Fun stuff! Also looking forward to spending time with my family and friends and enjoying this irreplaceable time in my life. As a tear runs down my face, I realize today that it’s 40 days away. My life is changing and I have a new road ahead with Randy. I am so thankful to have my parents and Randy’s parents because they have set such an amazing example of lasting relationships. They have worked hard so that we could become who we are today.
Since I just photographed Liz and Henry’s Wedding this past weekend, I can now share Liz’s Bridals with you! Liz chose City Park for her Portraits. She wore a veil that has been passed down through many generations in her family. Loved loved her bouquet, its smelled amazing just like the one she had this past weekend! I like the ones of Liz where she is laughing and you see her natural smile. Those are always my favorite. Overall, we had a great day at the Park and the lighting was fab :)
Love the first one, Liz was waiting for me to get ready and I was just snapping away testing the light. Love!
