Wow! All I can say is I have a whole lot of people who really care about me! My Bridal Shower was amazing. The food was delicious, the company was great, the decorations and attention to detail was spot on, and my gifts were wonderful. My Godmother (My Nanan as I call her) offered to have the Shower at her house. I owe a special thanks for my 8 awesome Bridesmaids, my cousin Charmaine, my Mom, my Grandmother and my 2 Aunts, Crystal and Colleen. It was funny because 2 nights before the party they were all at my Nanans setting up. I kept calling them to aggravate them and tell them I felt left out! All the girls were hanging out, drinking wine and having fun! My job was to sit home and have it all be a surprise on Saturday! So finally, I get a phone call and they say….. ohhhh just come over!! Nothing major will be set out until the Shower Day, so just come! I think I got there in .25 seconds! I hate missing out on girl time :)
So here are a few photos I figured I’d share with you all from my fabulous party! Thanks to everyone that helped out, it truly means alot and your generosity, kindness and love for me was on great display on Saturday. I love yall very much and don’t know what I’d do without yall!

Hope ya’ll enjoy when I post some personal photos. It gives you a little peek into my life. I’ve been thinking a lot about my blog posts and what my readers want to see more of. Do they want more Photography or do they like the mix of both worlds? As for me… I love the Photography blogs I read that fill you in a little about their personal life. I get a good bit of Wedding Photography Inquiries throughout the week – some weeks more than others – it just all depends. Sometimes Brides book me right away without even knowing me or meeting me! They feel like they know me well enough from reading my blog that 1. They know they will be comfortable around me, 2. They pick up on my personality and style and know that its a good fit, and 3. They love me for being me! However, sometimes I get emails from Brides who are just inquiring and aren’t sure about booking yet. Sometimes those don’t pan out, sometimes we’re just not a good match. Maybe their style is different, maybe they are in a different place in their life and don’t feel that they relate to me very well. HEY, you know what! I am completely FINE with that. That is something that I have had to get over, something that I have to keep reminding myself – some potential clients just weren’t meant to be MY clients! Here’s the thing – this is what winds up happening…. I wind up booking people who LIKE me for me! It’s a win/win situation – the Bridals, the Engagement Session and the Wedding Day will be great because they just knew before they even booked. Anyway – this is just me letting ya’ll know how I feel about this blog and the things I post. It gives you a glimpse into my world for a bit, it lets you know who I am when I’m not holding my camera. I know that I have blog readers who check back in for all different reasons and I am totally grateful for that. Thank You! I am looking forward to shooting many more Weddings and Portrait Sessions for people who just plain ole’ LIKE me for being me!
