Jax :: Children

I photographed Jax’s 1 year portraits last week at a local park near my house. He came dressed perfectly and I give props to his mom Michelle for the outfit choices! I always tell moms that its would be great to do one or two traditional outfits and then to maybe do a trendy outfit. Layered clothes always help to give that effect. For girls, leggings with a skirt on top, maybe a tutu, some boots? Possibly something for their hair or a little scarf? For the boys, faded jeans, a little tie or some cute sneakers. Vests and hats are always cool too. Fun outfits always add something special to the pictures.

Jax put on a little pumpkin Halloween costume for the last few photos. Totally reminded me of my costume choice when I was younger. There was about 3-4 years in a row where all I wanted to do was dress up as a pumpkin for Halloween, there was no convincing me otherwise. We still laugh about that to this day.

Since Jax will be getting all 100+ photos from his session on CD, I’ll be able to share WAY more with ya’ll than I typically would and without my watermark across the photo. So here’s another great thing about giving my clients the option to purchase the photo CD and make unlimited prints!! When they do…there is more for me to share on the blog! Thanks Mrs. Monica and Michelle for a great session :)
