I had the pleasure of photographing sweet baby Brody last week. We were able to get a few shots inside with natural light and then we headed outside to get the rest. I loved his baby blue hat and also the Easter bunny ears! Thanks to his parents Katey & Daniel for allowing me to capture their new addition. Brody sure is handsome!

Todays post is very special to me. Ryan & Bridget are my first couple where I’ve photographed their Engagement, Wedding and now Newborn photos. It’s truly been an honor to capture their journey up until this point – I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to be their photographer over the years. I look forward to watching Agnes grow up, she has two sweet parents that love her very much! Bridget often emailed me throughout her pregnancy to say she couldn’t wait for the newborn shoot and was excited about the little hats that she found on etsy for us to use!
Well, last week I took a little trip up to Baton Rouge to photograph one of the most precious, flawless little girls I’ve ever seen. She is just beautiful! It was great to see how well Ryan and Bridget have adapted to being parents in just a few short weeks. Such a blessing!

I had a great time photographing Mallory, she was soo well behaved for me! With the nicer weather, I’m excited to head back outside for my newborn shoots. I have always loved the warm natural light when it’s available. I know her mom Christi has been anxious to see her little peanut’s photos… so here she is!!
Max’s newborn session was shot outdoors which made me really happy! I love when I pull up to the parents house and see lots of interesting things that we’ll be able to use for our backdrops. An older street in New Orleans is always bound to have fun colors and cool things for shoots. I’ve been trying to step outside my box/comfort zone. I feel like I think more creatively when I go somewhere new. Looking forward to sharing a fun engagement session I photographed this week – it was a place my camera had never been before :) Max was such a sweetheart, here are some of my favorites!
Reid is the newest member of Grow With Me! We took these inside last week with lots of great sunlight coming through the windows. It’s been a little too chilly to take newborns outside. My shoots have been getting rescheduled due to the rain or ridiculously cold weather. It’s crazy how this weather has a way of slowing you down. I am constantly cold, so all I want to do is curl up and get warm! But there’s lots of work to be done :)
Baby Reid was awesome, he slept just about the whole session. He looks so peaceful! Looking forward to our upcoming shoots together! Every 3 months, you’ll see this little one growing up here on the blog.
