Welcome to this big ole world, Julia!! She did wonderful for her newborn session last week. What a little beauty! She gave us some smiles too, which is always fun :) Looking forward to watching this princess grow over the upcoming year. She is cousins with Josie, another cutie that I photograph! Thankful for word of mouth recommendations, I’ve been advertisement free for over a year now. Very grateful for the referrals :)
Here are some that I loved:
I am loving these images of newborn Annie. She was so sweet and cuddly on the day of her session. I’ve photographed her older sister, Caroline as well – so I was happy when big sister jumped in for a few. Overall, it was a nice relaxing morning. After the indoor shots, we were able to soak up some sun outdoors and Annie drifted fast asleep again. That’s always the best, then I’m able to move them in fun little positions. While Mom, Elizabeth took breaks to feed Annie – I read children’s books to Caroline. She is so smart, it made me smile. She just sat next to me and practically read the books to me! This is another perk to my job – being able to form relationships with my clients. Our shoots become so stress free and we are able to get some really great pictures.

Well I’m back from my 5 day vacation to the beach! I had a wonderful time with my family. I’ll share a little more and hopefully post some photos from our trip soon. I’ve been home since 2pm and I’ve barely stopped since I walked in the door. Just trying to pick up with what I had left to do before vacation. I have some catching up to do with work and then I plan on writing out a long blog post of whats been up with life and business lately….! As soon as I catch a breather, I’ll resume my personal posts again!
I’ve been looking forward to sharing these images with you all! I took these photos of sweet Aubrey last week and she did wonderful! So full of smiles and happiness :) We took these at Aubrey’s Aunt’s home in Old Metairie. Such beautiful backgrounds, both inside and outside of the house – loved it!! I can’t wait until this little cutie’s 9 month session!

I loved photographing sweet Madden for his 6 month session – look at that face! He has such a cute smile, but I also love the candid serious faces, too. His outfits were adorable! I will remember this session for a while because I got stunk by a BEE! Shooting outdoors sometimes takes its toll. Last year I got poison ivy, this year a bee sting… I’m waiting for the caterpillar bite, haha! It’s all worth it though because every day I get to do what I love :) Wouldn’t have it any other way! Can’t wait until this little dudes next session, he and his Mom are way too much fun!

It’s hard to believe that Giulianna is now 9 months! Seems like yesterday I was shooting her parent’s Maternity session!! Leave it up to her Mom, Gia to dress her in the most adorable little sassy outfits. And check out her headpieces!! I am so thankful to get the opportunity to photograph so many children… it makes me smile when Mom’s make an effort to go the extra mile for their shoots. The kids I photograph always look so stinkin’ cute with precious clothes – some choices are playful and creative… some are smocked and monogrammed – I LOVE ALL OF THEM!
