Adam & Mia were a a super cute couple, I had a great time with them last week!! They wanted a few different outfits & locations for their shoot, so they added extra time and did a 2 part Engagement session! We went to Audubon Park and the French Quarter, it was a gorgeous day! The sun was out and it was nice and cool. Not too windy, just perfect! We added their lab in some of the photos and he did great – the treats helped! haha! We cruised all around and found lots of cool spots. Thank you Adam & Mia for such a fun shoot! It was a pleasure to photograph your Engagement Session! Loved the couple of props you brought along, too!

Ruff Ruff…… my mom and dad are getting MARRIED!!

I’ve known Tiff for a while now, we met back in High School through our mutual friend, Caitlin. We all had lots of fun nights at LSU over the years, too. It’s crazy to think that I graduated from LSU almost 5 years ago and that I’ve been having my photography business since 2007! Where does the time go? Not sure. One of my favorite things about my blog is being able to document my journey over the years. Sometimes when I need to refresh my brain on what I’ve been doing, I scroll through as a reminder, haha!

We took these photos in Baton Rouge on LSU’s campus! I always love new areas to shoot, I haven’t been on campus in years and it felt good to be back. I passed the Art & Design building and thought about all of my Photography teachers. It’s crazy how so much has changed since I walked those halls back in college.

I loved Tiffany and Dustin’s LSU attire, bright colors always photograph well. The colors just went with the whole theme of photographing on campus. Always enjoy a new area to get some creative juices flowing. Thanks guys for a great shoot – looking forward to your Wedding this upcoming February!

Marlin & Varsha… these two had a vision! I can’t take much credit for this shoot besides being there to capture it. When I first met them at Starbucks, I knew they had lots of ideas in mind for their Engagement session, which is always nice. They had their props and poses down pat. I didn’t have to take too much time posing them which allowed us to get more shots. Sometimes its important to practice a bit if you are interested in doing some unique things for your shoot. I loved all of their ideas and overall I was excited about their session. We took these last week and did a mix of the French Quarter, Fulton Street and City Park!

Here are some that I loved:

I photographed Chris and Leslie this past Monday in City Park. I am cruising right on through busy season and making sure my clients stay TOP priority!! It amazes me the clients that tell me they’ve gone to someone prior to me and waited 3 months to get photos back. That’s cray cray! I really pride myself in getting photos back within 7-10 days, sometimes sooner! I am always so afraid of getting behind that I really try to shoot, edit and post in the order it was taken. I guess you can say I am little bit addicted to my job – I can’t get enough :)

I went to school with Leslie and it was great to see her again! She was a bridesmaid in a past Wedding that I photographed, so I was excited when she contacted me about shooting her Engagements. Chris and Leslie live on the Northshore, but they wanted some photos here in City Park. They didn’t want it to look like they were there though. We stayed away from all the traditional areas and searched more for the run down, rustic, tall grass areas. I had lots of fun with these guys – I am always like a kid in a candy store when we get that gorgeous evening sun! Loved this session, these two are adorable together!
