Well it’s been almost 3 weeks since I’ve entered this new married world. It’s a wonderful place and it feels warm in my heart, there’s just so much to be thankful for. I’m not sure how else to explain it. I guess I could go ahead and try or at least get out some of things that are going on in my head right now:<\/p>\n

I am content, full, happy, filled to the brim with excitement about diving into my career, nothings holding me back, thankful for so much, missing my family, missing the room that I grew up in, chores are weighing on me now, dishes, laundry, garbage, making the bed, eating breakfast, feeling like a real grown up, making coffee in the mornings, making this house a home, impulse decorating purchases, loving the way that wedding band looks on Randy’s finger, but more importantly loving that he likes wearing it, grateful for such wonderful friends, excited about all the new ones I’ve made in the past year, fortunate to have such awesome clients, there’s wedding gifts everywhere, there’s no more room for them, Shortee (our big dog) needs a haircut because I’m tired of sweeping up hairballs, she’s getting one tomorrow, I’m now a wedding vendor member on theknot.com and I’ve gotten almost 10 wedding inquiries in 2 days, I’m really happy about this, I miss my friends now that the wedding festivities are over, I refuse to get into that ‘down in the dumps’ period now that the big day is over, my future brides keep a smile on face because there’s a ton more to attend, I like how I feel like I have more ‘me time’ now, I’m rambling and it’s kind of relaxing because I don’t have to type in perfect sentences, it’s Thursday night and I can hear Randy’s band playing really loud outside in the practice studio, I will never know how the neighbors have put up with it for over 2 years, it’s loud, I’m excited about my friend Dana’s wedding in the Bahama’s on my birthday this year, I’m a bridesmaid, getting fitted for my dress tomorrow, having lunch and a girls day just because, my office looks a wreck, the house needs more work, I want to renovate the bathroom next, I need to chill out and not try to do everything at once, I know this, I need to weed the garden, another chore, go figure, I need to get my butt back to bootcamp on Monday, I swear I’ve gained 5+ pounds, I don’t really care, its happy weight, ha!, I need to start cooking more, I need to make dinner and have the entire family over soon, I had an amazing time on our honeymoon, I can’t wait to go back to Vegas for WPPI this upcoming year, looking forward to a workshop that is coming to NOLA in October, I’m still rambling, I need to go edit, I’ve been tired this week, the rain has got to go!, looking forward to my brother and Jen’s 4th of July party this weekend, I can’t wait to see everyone, lastly, I love my husband more and more everyday!<\/p>\n

My photographer friend Jason Cohen<\/a> from Lafayette crashed our wedding and took these with his Leica M9! Totally made my day yesterday. Being a wedding photographer I can tell you this, I get chills when I see photos of myself on the other side, it’s like it almost doesn’t seem real.<\/p>\n
