Is it family, friends, potential clients, past clients? Drop me a comment and let me know who’s reading…I don’t bite. I find it very cool when people randomly facebook or email me about something and say, oh hey…by the way, I read your blog all the time, I love it! Well thank you to all those who have dropped me a message.

So here it goes, this is my attempt to let you learn a little about the person behind the lens:
(I might get all ADD on ya and skip around to 10 different subjects, sorry… lots to spill)

There are many weekdays in between my shooting days that seem to go by quicker than a flash of light. Wake up, brush my teeth, put my hair in a ponytail and sit right smack in front of my computer. Occasionally munching on a Kashi bar or sipping a coffee while sifting through morning emails, responding to emails, editing, uploading, backing up files, burning hard copies, designing albums, answering more emails, filling photo orders, making blog posts, running to the post office, etc.. I wouldn’t have it any other way, I’m very content at the moment.

Even though I’ve been busy, I am able to sneak in a little wedding planning here and there. More like wedding researching! So much researching involved in every step of the planning! Still lots more to do…we actually met with our priest this afternoon and found it interesting and quite therapeutic. Why do I seem to cry at all the emotional things that come along with the wedding? Father Pat asked Randy what were 5 things he loved about me, well I mean just the thought of that choked me up, I MEAN seriously? Ha! Randy glances at me and smirks…. well its her laugh, she has this infectious laugh he says, (I personally don’t think so, I really don’t have one of those annoying laughs, I promise) Then he says, I mean just look at her, she’s gorgeous. ~Once again, I’m thinking yea, sure Randy! Keep it coming… ;) Then he continues with… she’s strong willed, compassionate about her work and what she believes in, and she has a good sense of humor too!

Thank you for all the sweet words Randy, I don’t think I tell you enough how lucky I am have you. I took this of you one day when we were at the park with the dogs, I love when you wear this smile….

On another note, my first taste of a real wedding season is over, having photographed about ten weddings in the past few months, I now have a 2 month wedding hiatus. Lately, I’ve been busy scheduling and photographing summer photo sessions for clients requesting family, children and maternity sessions. I truly enjoy any type of photography, whatever allows me to capture life – sign me up! It’s a nice change of pace to switch it up and challenge my creativity.

I’ve had about 10 emails in the past month for wedding availability for dates in May/June 2010. I’m all about giving 100% to my clients & I know those 2 months will be busy/eventful leading to Randy & I’s Wedding which is 6/12/10. Needless to say, I won’t be booking weddings in those 2 months. Sorry inquiring brides, makes me sad every time I get one of those emails :(

Just wanted to share a few emails I’ve received recently that have brightened up all these rainy days we’ve been having!

Hey Jen,
OMG, they are great!
