Hey Yall! Wow, its been a really long time since I’ve posted a personal entry. Work has been my main priority lately and getting things back to my clients in a timely manor. It’s Wedding Session and this year my Wedding falls right in the middle of it all :) So my work load has doubled to say the least. I’ve been up late every night either working on Wedding Guest lists with my mom or working on photos. Just last week I photographed Martha Mayer Dancing School. Over 100 girls, over 100 proof envelops to fill, then photo orders to make, then print order envelopes to deliver. Life has been crazy lately. Bootcamp 3 times plus adding Crossift one day a week. I should be a muscle woman, HA! But I’m far from it! I feel better, the workouts have helped me find balance over these busy last few months. I miss Randy- we haven’t had a fun date night in weeks. I am so glad that he is so patient with me when things get busy. He never has a problem with finding something to do or calling his friends to hang out while I’m cooped up in this office.<\/p>\n

I frown every time I walk in the kitchen because on the table there lays 3 craft projects that I’ve half started. They are calling my name, but I have to just keep telling them no…. maybe next month? I’ve missed blogging but decided today to just put the work on the side for a bit and type. I wanted to share some photos of my Bridal Tea this past Sunday at Windsor Court. When it comes to my bridesmaids- there has not been one of my wedding functions where we haven’t gone out after. Lately, everyone has been so busy- its our only excuse to see each other. It’s like we’re never ready to go home, we enjoy the company. I love my friends so much. They remind me that working hard is worth every bit of being tired, moody, and stressed because when you’re surrounded by the people you love it makes that time 100x more enjoyable.<\/p>\n

I don’t want to sound like I’ve gone mad, but there is a reason behind why I’ve been working really really long days. Most people would think, geeze I mean take a break already!! I am taking off for 6 weeks. From May 12th- June 26th.<\/strong> I will not be taking any portrait sessions or weddings. That will be exactly one month off before the wedding to wrap up all loose ends with my clients (album designs, wedding photo CD’s, print orders, etc..) then I will be getting married on June 12th. A week long honeymoon and then the following week until June 26th – -\u00c2\u00a0 I will be packing up all my things and making the big move to Randy and I’s home. I need this time for myself to refresh before and after the wedding. I will make a couple more announcements before then so my clients know I will be unavailable for shoots during those 6 weeks.<\/p>\n

Anyway, here are some shots from my Bridal Tea this past Sunday. Let me tell you how the day panned out before I even got there…… (I went to mass, went straight to get a manicure and my eyebrows waxed – – my upper eye lids were red all day, I think I scuffed every manicured nail, I left my cell phone at home that later my Aunt went to get for me, the one set of batteries I brought for my flash were dead and lastly my dress was uncomfortable all day long) Nothing that a monsoon at Port O Call didn’t solve later on that day. At that point, I had no worries :) But anyway- despite all my mishaps that day I still really enjoyed myself.<\/p>\n
