1. I miss my grandmother who passed away when I was in grammar school. I saw a photo of her last night at my Aunt’s house and it just brought back a flood of old memories. You know how sometimes you pick up a photo of someone who isn’t with us anymore and you just have to fight back the tears. She was so rich in her faith and always just had a glow about her. She is someone that I wish was still around today because I know she would be able to teach me so much. When we were younger, my family lived with my Mimi for a little while when my parents were building their new house. My mom always says that she taught her so much and left a big impact on her life. So I guess in a way- my mom is able to pass this on to me today. Sometimes I dream of my Mimi and I wake up feeling enlightened and fulfilled. I wish I could dream of her more often.<\/p>\n
2. I like the cheap pink shimmer lip glosses from the Dollar Store, they are my favorites for some reason. MAC doesn’t have anything on them! I always find them in my old purses and rolling around in my car. A girl can never have too much gloss!<\/p>\n
3. I do all my editing on my iMac desktop, but I am really annoyed that my MacBook laptop battery decided to no longer take charge. Now I have to be extremely careful while using it because if I make a wrong move and it comes unplugged, then BOOM is shuts off. It’s only like a year or so old, this shouldn’t have happened already!<\/p>\n
4. I love etsy.com. Being in the creative line of work- I can really appreciate the time and dedication people put into their handmade products. I seem to be a sucker for anything artsy. Knowing I could probably make half the stuff by myself, its nice to support someones talents. Thats exactly how I feel when I go to the Palmer Park Art Markets on the last Saturday of every month. They have the most unique gifts and crafts- I always wind up buying something I realllllyy don’t need but feel like I can’t live without. Hmmm – that would be a good definition of ART!<\/p>\n
5. I think its weird that dogs take after their owners. I mean how many people do you know that have dogs and they act just like them? This fascinates me and I would love to learn more about it! I’m sure there is a book out there somewhere.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
