As the drill and hammering in the background continues on, I sit in my office waiting for the kitchen to be complete. It’s almost done – cabinets and counter tops are getting installed today! I haven’t had much time to blog – things have been catching up with me lately and I’ve had a lot on my plate. When I get like this, I usually like to write a personal post to kind of clear my head about whats been going on. Last week I was busy almost every night – it was a little crazy! Between starting bootcamp last week, playing Bonko with 12 of my girlfriends Thursday night, attending a dinner party for Randy’s work Friday night, our Honey Do Shower Saturday night and the Saint’s game Sunday, then bootcamp this week- Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs….its been an eventful January. Have I lost you yet? I can’t even keep it all straight!<\/p>\n

Keeping busy and being surrounded by great people is what truly makes me happy. Another resolution for this year is to stay positive. No one wants to hear someone complain all the time – it then just puts everyone in a bad mood. I read on a photography blog one day that said … “For all you photographer bloggers out there- people really can’t stand when you complain, no one wants to hear it!” This really hit me when I read that and I have to remind myself of this. It’s very true. I value each and every blog reader that comes to my site to see whats new with my photography and my life. So staying positive will always be refreshing, no matter what day of the week it is!!<\/p>\n

There is so much that I am thankful for lately and feel like I could go on for days. I can’t believe the Saints are going to the Superbowl\u00c2\u00a0 – I’ve expressed on my blog numerous times how exciting this season has been. I had the chills on Sunday morning when the closing song at church was “Oh When the Saint go Marching In.” Everyone was singing along, cheering and clapping. All to be followed by an amazing win!! Here’s a post<\/a> I wrote when they were still in pre-season!! (Wow – time is flying by!)<\/p>\n

This weekend Randy and I had our Honey Do Shower – it was pretty much a party where you dressed in costume – whether it be ghetto fabulous, redneck or just wearing the tackiest clothes you could find! I laughed so hard and I was totally blown away by the 70+ guests that came to our party, every single on of them in costume! (I kind of thought about what my facebook clients\/friends would think when they saw pictures of this….I was afraid they would be like OMG, is that my wedding photographer dressed like that!?!) HAHA! Anyway, my past bride reassured me this morning that she thought the pics were hilarious and that at least people can tell that I have a good sense of humor!! Thanks for the reassurance Bridget :)<\/p>\n

So anyway, enough of my blabbing!! I hope everyone is having a great week. I am in the process of begging my Dad to let us take his Airstream<\/a> to Miami for the Superbowl – I don’t think he’s going to budge!! :(<\/p>\n
