{"id":2009,"date":"2010-01-01T10:18:07","date_gmt":"2010-01-01T17:18:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jenamato.com\/blog\/?p=2009"},"modified":"2026-10-03T20:32:19","modified_gmt":"2026-10-04T00:32:19","slug":"its-2010-happy-new-yearrr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jenamato.com\/blog\/its-2010-happy-new-yearrr\/","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s 2010 ~ Happy New Yearrr!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just wanted to start off by saying Thank You to anyone reading this who I&#8217;ve had the pleasure of photographing this past year. 2009 was exciting, rewarding and memorable. As each year ends I always think about whats next to come for my life, my family, my relationship with Randy, my friends, and my business. Starting this January- our wedding showers will begin. It&#8217;s crazy how fast the time has flown by and incredible to think that in a little over 5 months Randy and I will be married. I&#8217;m looking forward to the weddings that I will photograph the months prior to our wedding and also looking forward to seeing how my perspective will change once I shoot my first wedding being married.<\/p>\n<p>I figured I would try to make a list of some new years resolutions and check back in a few months to see if I&#8217;m making progress.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;d like to get healthy, I&#8217;m talking going to the gym 4 days a week, trying to eat mainly whole grains, vegetables, fruits and lean meats kind of healthy. I&#8217;m a little curious how this will effect certain parts of my life too. Energy, Mood, Motivation &#8211; I&#8217;m willing to give it a shot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>As far as photography- there is constant desire to get better, to push myself and to look for new ways to shoot. This is something I will always have a deep passion for. I look forward to capturing some beautiful and unique people in 2010, growing my business, and meeting lots of new people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Reading! I have a whole list of books I would love to read but I don&#8217;t make the time for. I would like to change that. Is it just me or can you pick out the people that read? I can tell if someone reads by the way they talk, the vocabulary they choose, the words they use when typing an email, a blog post, etc.. I would love to have a more enriched vocabulary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>I want to give back, this upcoming year I will be photographing the winners chosen from the portrait session giveaway and I&#8217;m really looking forward to it. I would like to learn about different special needs causes that I can be a part of as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>I want to start telling people more how much they mean to me and how much I appreciate them. Sometimes I get too busy and forget!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thanks blog readers for always checking back to see whats new!
