Tonight I will ramble….because I’m just in one of those moods. The blog title popped into my head because I listen to Led Zeppelin too much. You will learn some useless information about me, even if it brings you entertainment for a mere 5 minutes. I’ve come to the conclusion that blogs are similar to reality TV, gossip magazines, email and facebook. They are all just past times, a distraction, and an addiction to keeping up with people. I am totally guilty of all of the above. Even writing this blog and sharing my life with people has become quite habitual.<\/p>\n

I would say the past two months have been far from boring. On my desk, I have one of those huge calendars where I write both business and personal dates to remember. Being the nerd that I am, each “thing” has its own color, meaning I highlight what I write down in the appropriate color. For example: Photo shoots, weddings & business meetings = LIME GREEN, Fun Things coming up (Holidays, Birthdays, special dates) = HOT PINK, Bills that need to be mailed in on a certain date = PURPLE (Booooo!!!), Networking Meetings = BABY BLUE, and totally random stuff that I want to remember = HOT ORANGE. If anyone cares, that is how I keep my life organized one month at a time! I guess I’m a visual personal, if thats not obvious yet. Let me just tell you, November and December – I can’t even see the white of the calendar anymore! And to tell you how many shoots I’ve had this year……my lime green highlighter ran out of ink! I sent Randy on a mad hunt for that particular color the other day….didn’t tell him why, just insisted I NEEDED that color, okay, thanks!<\/em> :)<\/p>\n

Today the weather was yuck in Nola, it literally rained\/misted all day long. It was cold and gray. My 4:00 session sadly needed to be rescheduled. I guess it was our turn to get a little rain, hopefully it doesn’t last long!<\/p>\n

I just got home from my cousins house where I met with some of the girls in the wedding, we did some planning for Randy’s ‘Honey-Do’ Shower and my Bridal Shower. It’s all starting to hit me and I’m realizing I HAVE ALOT to finish before the wedding gets here on 6.12.10! I keep saying….\u00c2\u00a0 okay I’ll get to that next month, nooo next month. And seriously, the days just keep flying by. Why does time move so fast? Too fast!<\/p>\n

Last night we went to my Grandma’s to watch the Saints vs. Patriots game, it was about 20-25 of us all there to watch football on her new 60” flat w\/ surround sound. I felt like I was at the Dome. 11-0 really? Just incredible! It was Monday, we ate Red Beans and I was reminded of how good it feels to be surrounded by the ones you love.<\/p>\n

Every post is better with a pic – here’s my pool I made for the game last night, too bad I didn’t win -\u00c2\u00a0 I could have used some $$ to pay off the things I highlight in PURPLE :)<\/p>\n

The random square labeled “girl” at the bottom ….. I’m still laughing about. So we’ve been calling my cousin Charmaine the name “GIRL” since as long as I can remember, I don’t know, its just one of those random stupid things that just stuck. (Some of our family nicknames include: Teet, Noonie, Pookie, Hebba, Bird, Yen….etc etc… – – my Nanan is to blame for most of these!!) So last night, we’re like Charmaine, “do you want to buy a sqaure”, she’s like nahh, I don’t really feel like going to grab my purse, ahh I’m not worried about it” … So anyway my cousin Kelly says to her husband Kris, “seriously, just buy Charmaine a square, she needs at least one!” So anyway, Kris proceeds to write “girl” on a square.
