Okay, so tonight I plan on making a BIG dent in my ‘To Do’ list! It’s going to be a lonngg night. Tomorrow is my birthday, so I don’t plan on even opening my office door. (Ha! Yeah right)

Before I get swept up in editing, I just wanted to share a post of Sam from this past week. These are his 1 year old portraits. He is a sweetheart, I had a great time with Sam and his mom Rachel. I love capturing moms with their kids – just hugging on them and watching their little ones eyes light up. Those are photos that moms will look at 20 years from now and wonder where all the time has gone. My mom has this one photo where she’s holding my oldest brother – when he was probably just about 1-2 years old. It’s still framed in our house. You know when your family begins to grow, you wind up replacing photos with newer pictures. I think the reason I love this picture of my mom and brother so much is because it’s never been replaced, no picture has ever covered it up. It’s still in the same frame that she put it in 30 years ago. Anyway- the few photos of Rachel holding Sam kind of reminded me of that photo.

Here’s some cute ones of his little smiling face! :)
