With my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shootsac.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shootsac<\/a> draped over my shoulder and my camera in hand, I strolled through the French Quarter. Talk about feel like a tourist!! Sometimes its nice to just take photos for no reason, to try out different angles and to maybe do something new. It&#8217;s weird what my eyes see when there is no one in the photo. I must admit, sometimes shooting in the Quarter can get a little monotonous. My couples are always fantastic and they are the ones that truly make each photo unique. However, its easy to get burned out and feel like you just can&#8217;t come up with anything new! Today changed that. Today I had a different mindset and it renewed my outlook on the Quarter. I opened my eyes a little wider and I took in the beauty. I caught myself being patient, waiting until the car moved out of my frame, waiting for the the person to vanish and for the lighting to change before I snapped the photo. It slowed me down and made me think. We as photographers here in New Orleans are blessed to have the French Quarter as our backdrop in so many of our photos. Each street brings something new and exciting. I found that again today. I feel refreshed. It must have been the weather? Maybe it was my ability to just chill out and soak it all in?
