It was so nice to see Randy, Lindsey & Stella again! You may remember sweet little Stella’s face… she was part of my Grow With Me club so she appeared many times on the blog. Her parents are getting married this upcoming year and I was thrilled when they asked me to take some Engagement photos of them! Stella hopped in for a few too! Love the colors and the backgrounds! It’s always a treat when clients come back to me again for their photos! I photographed Colby & Morgan last year for their One Year Anniversary Session… and now it’s Year Two! They are the sweetest and such a joy to photograph, they included their cute little pups for a few photos, too! Last year we did the French Quarter and this time is was Audubon Park! Love changing it up, we have lots of options in our beautiful city!

Last week I had a great time photographing Robert and Dominique’s Engagement Session. We also included their 18 month old little boy, Landon. Happy we were able to get a few family shots in there, too! :) These were taken at City Park, it was a gorgeous day! Here are some favs:

My friendship with Noelle goes all the way back to 8th grade at Dominican. She and I were like two peas in a pod. The same quirky personality, very creative, a little spicy and we definitely knew how to make each other laugh. Noelle and I grew up in the same neighborhood, so we’ve always done a lot together. After school we would wash our cars at the car wash or go for bike rides on the levee. Make costumes for the dress up school dances or even make handmade jewelry for the fancy dances. I can still picture us together having a good ole’ time – even though we first met about 13 years ago. I am so thankful for my friendships I made in High School, our whole group still remains close.

Noelle asked me to be a bridesmaid in her Wedding this upcoming December, I am so excited! I was honored when she asked me to take some Engagement photos of she and Stevie. They live in Atlanta now, so we did these on a weekend they were in town. Leave it up to Noelle to ship 4 Live Maine Lobsters to my house today to say Thank you! She is just too much, however I seriously can not wait to boil those things!!!! YUMMY!

Thank you Noelle for always being such a great friend, no matter how long we go without seeing each other – we always pick up right where we left off! I love you both and I can’t wait until your big day!!!! :)

What an honor it is to photograph Men in uniform! I was excited when Lauren contacted me about shooting her Engagement session! She wanted a mix of French Quarter photos and then some at the D Day Museum with Jared in uniform. We had such a fun day walking around and they even stopped at a cute little bar to grab a drink. Always makes for fun photos! You can’t deny the love between this adorable couple. Thank you both for having me photograph this special time. Thank you Jared for serving our country- you are a hero!
